From Gabbriette to Hailey Bieber, 16 Perfumes the Coolest Celebrities Actually Wear

Your perfume is one of the most personal things you own, because it reaches people before you say a word and stays with them after you leave. It tells them about your character as clearly as your style or your playlist. Perfume is the one piece of an it girl’s style that can’t be screenshotted, so the only way to learn it is to wait until she shares it herself. This edit takes a peek inside the bags of the coolest girls of the moment, from Zendaya to Hailey Bieber, to see which bottles they actually carry and why.

Zendaya: Prada Paradoxe Intense

Zendaya found Prada Paradoxe Intense on a close friend, tested it herself at the 2025 Met Gala, and kept it after a night of compliments. She now carries a small bottle of Paradoxe in her purse, and became the global ambassador of it. The Intense version opens on Calabrian bergamot, neroli and a pear accord, then pushes jasmine grandiflorum and a moss accord to the centre, and finishes on Ambrofix, vanilla and white musk. The moss is what separates it from the original Prada Paradoxe, giving the floral heart a darker, woodier edge.

Taylor Swift: Tom Ford Santal Blush

At the 2024 VMAs, a camera caught Taylor Swift thanking someone for a compliment on her perfume, and the house she named was Tom Ford. The bottle fans point to is Santal Blush, visible in her documentary Miss Americana. Santal Blush belongs to the Tom Ford Private Blend line and is built on Australian sandalwood, warmed with Sri Lankan cinnamon bark and carrot seed, softened with Madagascan ylang ylang and settled on Texan cedarwood and benzoin from Laos. Tom Ford himself called it a textured fusion of sandalwood and spices, and on skin it wears creamy and close.

Rihanna: Fenty Eau de Parfum

Rihanna developed Fenty Eau de Parfum in Grasse with LVMH master perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, spending hours with him in the gardens before the first draft existed. Magnolia is the note she credits with changing the whole project, and it sits over Bulgarian rose absolute, tangerine, musk and patchouli, so the scent moves between creamy and spicy. The formula draws on places she treasures, from Bridgetown to Paris, New York and Los Angeles. She chose a transparent brown bottle shaped to fit her palm, explaining that brown is her favourite colour and the one she comes from.

Dua Lipa: YSL Libre

Dua Lipa has said she normally wears a single perfume from morning to night, and that perfume is YSL Beauty Libre. Libre takes lavender, a note long tied to classic men’s fougeres, and sets it against orange blossom, then grounds both in vanilla, cedar and musk. The contrast between the herbal lavender and the sweet, heady blossom is the whole point of the composition.

Hailey Bieber: Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique

Hailey Bieber likes to play with scents but always goes back to Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique. Perfumer Quentin Bisch opens it with bergamot, lychee and peach, builds a white floral heart of jasmine, peony, orange blossom and hedione, and rests it on oakmoss, woods and white musk. The house describes it as floral, citrusy and milky at once, which explains why it reads fresh and skin close rather than sweet. She has also named Ex Nihilo Lust in Paradise, a Louise Turner composition of pink pepper, white peony and lychee over white cedar, musk and amber.

Bella Hadid: Orebella Window2Soul

Among the scents of her own line, Bella Hadid names Orebella Window2Soul as her favourite. Perfumer Clément Gavarry built it as a sheer floral: lemon, geranium and mint at the top, jasmine and Damask rose in the heart and tonka bean underneath. The formula contains no alcohol and separates into two layers, fragrance with essential oils over a base of camellia, almond, olive, jojoba and shea oils, so it has to be shaken before every spray. The faceted geode bottle is a nod to her mother’s collection of vintage perfume flacons.

Gigi Hadid: My Burberry Black

Makeup artist Erin Parsons revealed that Gigi Hadid layers My Burberry Black with Lily Aldridge Haven. The pairing works because the two sit at opposite ends of the same garden: the Burberry brings jasmine, peach and rose over amber and patchouli, while Haven adds mandarin, peony and woody musks. Parsons described the result as a skin scent that smells like roses and oranges. Haven has since been discontinued, so recreating the exact combination now depends on finding a bottle.

Kim Kardashian: Crystal Gardenia

Gardenia runs through Kim Kardashian‘s fragrance history. Her 2009 debut Kim Kardashian Eau de Parfum, created with Givaudan perfumer Claude Dir, placed gardenia, tuberose and jasmine at its heart over tonka, musk and sandalwood. Years later KKW Crystal Gardenia returned to the same flower, inspired by the gardenias her late father brought her from business trips and by crystals friends gave her. KKW Fragrance closed in 2022, and SKIMS has announced a beauty and fragrance division of its own.

Olivia Rodrigo: Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540

Olivia Rodrigo told that Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 was her main fragrance. Francis Kurkdjian created it for the 250th anniversary of Baccarat, using the alchemy of making red crystal as his starting point. Jasmine and saffron sit at the top, a woody accord in the middle, and ambergris and cedar at the base, and together they leave the airy, almost sugary trail the scent is known for.

Charli XCX: Byredo Bibliothèque

Charli XCX told that Byredo Bibliothèque is her favourite and that it travels with her everywhere. She admits to over spraying it and says complaints are “their problem, not mine.” The scent does what its name promises, with peach, plum, violet and peony laid over leather, patchouli and vanilla, like an old reading room with a fruit bowl on the desk. She has also named Byredo Mixed Emotions, with maté and cassis over woods. For the 2026 Met Gala her hairstylist Matt Benns used Initio Parfums Privés Atomic Rose as both hair mist and perfume, layering Bulgarian and Turkish rose with Egyptian jasmine over Madagascan vanilla and amber.

Gabbriette: Cire Trudon Mortel

Gabbriette likes smoky scents and says she wants to smell like a fireplace and an old church, so her favourite is Cire Trudon Mortel, which she describes as smelling like a chapel. Perfumer Yann Vasnier opens it with pimento and black pepper, builds the heart around Somalian frankincense and closes on benzoin, cistus and myrrh, a resinous trail that has more in common with a candlelit nave than with anything fresh. Her other loves are amber, musk, leather and patchouli. A later discovery came by accident, when a gift bracelet scented with Comme des Garçons Rouge smelled so good that she wore it every day, then tracked down the perfume and bought it.

Victoria Beckham: Victoria Beckham Beauty Portofino '97

Portofino ’97 is Victoria Beckham‘s memory of her early trips with David to the Italian seaside, when their relationship was still a secret. It opens on Calabrian bergamot and black pepper, turns to incense and amber like warm white sheets, and leaves patchouli, musk and vetiver on the skin. The bottle is modelled on a vintage flacon she collected on her travels, and its blue enamel echoes the Ligurian Sea.

Sofia Richie Grainge: Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt

Sofia Richie Grainge first fell for Jo Malone London at her husband’s parents’ house, where a candle was always burning, and she calls Wood Sage & Sea Salt her favorite scent. The cologne pairs sea salt and the mineral feel of coastal cliffs with the earthy warmth of sage. For summer dinners she layers English Pear & Freesia, with pear, freesia and patchouli, and Nectarine Blossom & Honey, with cassis, acacia honey and peach. At home she has burned Lime Basil & Mandarin for about five years.

Lana Del Rey: Gucci Guilty Pour Femme

Lana Del Rey says she was planning to create her own fragrance just for fun when Gucci asked her to front Gucci Guilty Pour Femme the following week, and she took it as a sign. The 2019 version opens with mandora and pink pepper, puts lilac and geranium in the heart and closes on patchouli and amber. Lilac is the unusual choice here, a powdery, slightly green spring flower that suits a woman who says she can tell the season in California by the smell of the flowers.

Olivia Dean: Burberry Her

Olivia Dean calls Burberry Her Eau de Parfum the scent that feels right for her, a vanilla fragrance that still reads fresh and flirty. In 2026 she became the face of Her Parfum, the most intense version of the line. It opens with cherry and pear, moves through amber, freesia, a whipped cream accord and patchouli, and settles on vanilla absolute, moss and musk. She says the cherry reminds her of London’s cherry blossom trees turning the streets pink every spring.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: A Collector's Shelf

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley treats fragrance like a wardrobe. For years her Byredo picks were Gypsy Water, a blend of citrus, pine needles, sandalwood and amber she also wears as a rollerball oil, Blanche, and Bal d’Afrique as a hair perfume. She has also named Le Labo Thé Matcha 26, which layers matcha and fig over vetiver and cedar, and Costa Brazil Aroma. The newest bottle spotted in her bag is Maison Crivelli Tubéreuse Astrale, a niche take on tuberose.
