Summer is almost here, and if there’s one thing celebrities do better than anyone else, it’s knowing exactly where to go. While the rest of us are scrolling through options and second-guessing ourselves, they’re already checked in, poolside, and completely unbothered. From a clifftop hideaway in Positano to a stretch of Utah desert that somehow feels like another planet, their hotel choices tend to say a lot. We tracked down fourteen properties that kept showing up on their feeds and vacation photos, and put together the kind of list worth bookmarking before summer gets any closer.

There are few places on the Amalfi Coast that earn their reputation as quietly as Villa Treville does. Perched on the cliffs of Positano with the Tyrrhenian Sea laid out in front of it, the property has drawn names like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham, and once you see it, the appeal is pretty self-explanatory. Old-world Italian glamour, unhurried days, long lunches built around fresh local ingredients with that view always somewhere in your eyeline, quiet afternoons at the La Traviata spa, and the kind of endless blue backdrop that makes every hour feel longer than it actually is. It’s the sort of place you start mentally planning a return trip to before you’ve even left.

Dua Lipa is basically a full-time traveler who also makes music, and her picks never disappoint. Last summer, she was spotted at La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel in Deià, and honestly, the choice makes sense. The hotel sits in a small mountain village in Mallorca, quiet, a little hidden, surrounded by olive groves with the sea somewhere in the distance. It has been a favorite among artists and creatives for years, and the vibe backs that up completely.
Mornings here start with yoga or a swim, afternoons stretch into long lunches that nobody rushes, and the views speak for themselves. It’s beautiful without trying to be, and that’s exactly why people keep coming back.

Amangiri has become one of those places that shows up on your radar the moment you start paying attention to where certain people actually go. Hailey Bieber, Justin Bieber, Kylie Jenner — the list goes on, and it’s not hard to see why. Set near the Arizona–Utah border on a stretch of desert that feels almost cinematic, the resort is all clean concrete, wooden platform beds, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the red rock landscape like a painting. Days here have a rhythm to them: hiking, long meals, and the kind of genuine stillness most people forget they were looking for.

With Cannes pulling everyone’s attention each May, Nice becomes the quieter, smarter base, and Hôtel du Couvent seems to be exactly where people land when they want to recharge between the chaos. Model Barbara Palvin stayed there last year and summed it up better than any review could: “Thank you for leaving me recharged for an amazing Cannes trip.” The hotel has everything you’d want after a long day on the Croisette: a spa, wellness center, fitness center, and a swimming pool with a view that makes it very easy to stay put.

Bruna Marquezine knows how to do Italy right. The actress headed to Masseria Torre Maizza in Puglia with friends for a trip that had all the right ingredients: warm sea, gelato, night walks, pizza, and the slow discovery of hidden corners that only that part of the country does well. The property sits in the heart of the Adriatic coast, a renovated 16th-century masseria framed by ancient olive groves, with Olga Polizzi-designed rooms, a rooftop bar made for sunsets, and a private beach club. The kind of place that makes southern Italy feel like the only logical vacation destination.

Thyme is located in the heart of the Cotswolds, and if you’ve ever scrolled past those honey-hued stone buildings and rolling English countryside on someone’s feed and felt an immediate pull, you’re not alone. Model Elsa Hosk is one of the names who made the trip, and it’s not hard to see the appeal. Nearly 800 square miles of patchwork villages, gardens, and walking paths that seem to go on forever, with a property that makes it genuinely difficult to leave the grounds in the first place. Long walks, slow meals, fresh air, and the kind of scenery that makes everything else feel very far away.
If Positano keeps showing up on this list, Le Sirenuse is a big part of the reason. Model and style icon Alexa Chung visited and and couldn’t help herself: “My eyeballs couldn’t believe the beauty of @lesirenuse so I’m posting lots of their interiors for inspiration above (and painting my walls ice white immediately),” she wrote on Instagram. The hotel has been pulling people in for long enough that Nobel Prize-winning author John Steinbeck wrote about it in 1953, and what he said still lands: Positano “bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes urgently real after you have gone.” Le Sirenuse has that effect on people, and judging by everyone who keeps coming back, it hasn’t worn off.

Some places are harder to stumble upon, and that’s exactly the point. Maroma, tucked into the untouched stretch of the Riviera Maya, is one of them, and model Paloma Elsesser is among those who found their way there. Hidden behind a canopy of jungle, the property runs on a different frequency entirely: pioneering wellness, contemporary Mexican dining, and the kind of stillness that feels genuinely ancient. The energy here is specific and hard to put into words, but there’s something about the combination of pristine wilderness, warm water, and thoughtfully designed spaces that makes it difficult to think about anywhere else while you’re in it.

Every May, when Hollywood descends on Cannes and the Côte d’Azur fills with familiar faces, one address keeps coming up: Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Perched on the tip of Cap d’Antibes, it has been the backdrop of choice for generations of A-list guests, Sofia Richie Grainge and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley among the most recent. Sofia has called it her home away from home, and the soft sunlight and salty breeze coming off the water make that very easy to believe. The kind of place that somehow feels just as magical on the tenth visit as it did on the first.

Belmond Cap Juluca has been welcoming A-list guests since it first opened its doors in 1988, and the names on that list, Sofia Richie Grainge, Demi Moore, and Robert De Niro, among them, say everything about the kind of place it is. Situated on a pristine stretch of Maundays Bay in Anguilla, the resort’s open-air design feels shaped by the landscape around it, the white-sand beaches and crystal-clear water the kind of backdrop that sets the tone before you’ve even unpacked. Beachfront villas and suites with private terraces and direct beach access, Caribbean charm at its most considered. An escape people find once and never quite stop thinking about.

Aman has resorts scattered across the world, but Amanpuri, its very first, remains something apart. Perched on its own peninsula in Thailand, surrounded by the whispers of coconut palms and the gentle pull of the Andaman Sea, it sets the tone for everything the brand has become: space, serenity, and an idyllic white-sand beach that needs no embellishment. An exceptional restaurant, a Holistic Wellness Center, and a guest list that has included Beyoncé and Angelina Jolie, among others. The kind of place that quietly defined what a luxury resort could feel like, and has never needed to prove it since.
JOALI BEING was built around a single idea: that a resort could do more than offer a beautiful setting. Located on Bodufushi Island in Raa Atoll, it approaches wellbeing through four pillars, Mind, Skin, Microbiome, and Energy, bringing ancient wisdom and modern science together in a place of overwater bungalows, private butler service, and some of the most awarded spa programming in the Maldives. Sophie Turner and Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz are among those who have found their way there. Sophie summed up a stay there better than most: “Who knew that all it takes to be happy is tea tasting, perfume making, breathwork, sound therapy, spotting dolphins, watsu, cooking classes, turtle snorkeling, massages, and getting burnt on the beach with your besties in the Maldives.”

Four Seasons Resort Maui needs little introduction, but it got one anyway when it became the primary filming location for HBO’s The White Lotus, sending an already coveted resort into a new level of cultural conversation. Nestled along Wailea, Maui’s sunniest coast, the resort sits on some of the island’s most expansive golden-sand beaches, with world-class golf, pickleball, tennis, and vibrant dining all within reach. A recent reimagining has brought refreshed accommodations, elevated pool and beach amenities, and a spectacular new Spa and Wellness Center, while the genuine Aloha spirit that has always defined a stay there remains entirely unchanged. Paris Hilton, Jessica Alba and actress Ashley Benson are among the names who have stayed, and with a location like this, it is not hard to see why the island keeps pulling people back.

There is a reason Los Cabos keeps appearing on everyone’s feed, and Las Ventanas al Paraíso is a significant part of it. The resort sits along the pristine beachfront of the Sea of Cortez, its all-suite design blending Mexican motifs, vibrant local hues, and views that stop you mid-sentence. Personal butler service, five restaurants and bars, seven swimming pools, and a team that anticipates every need before it arises. Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, and the Kardashians have all stayed, making it one of the most celebrated resorts in Mexico.
