Maggie and Travis’s romance started with a setup by one of their future wedding guests and flourished through mutual friends at a Labor Day party. Coincidentally, their closest friends also got married.

Travis proposed on the beach behind Maggie’s parents’ house in Sanibel Island, Florida. Despite Maggie’s suspicion, Travis surprised her with a morning proposal, knowing it was the best way to catch her off guard. With the added surprise of Travis’s parents flying in from California, the couple and both families celebrated with a beachside brunch accompanied by champagne.

As a couple, Travis and Maggie have very similar personalities. What Maggie appreciates most about Travis is his confidence, while Travis truly admires and values Maggie’s perseverance, outgoing nature, and companionship.

They cherish their quality time together and enjoy engaging in activities they love. Whether it’s cooking together with a glass of wine, indulging in guilty pleasures like watching different shows, or simply traveling and exploring new restaurants.

Travis and Maggie’s house was completely destroyed by a Florida hurricane just before their wedding. They wanted to focus solely on the positive, happiness, and lots of love during their wedding weekend, so they opted for a destination wedding in Mexico.

Maggie shares: “I visited the Pedregal in college and left the resort saying, “I want to get married here one day.” It has always been in my heart since then. It was a place I knew I wanted to celebrate and share with everyone we love on such a special weekend! Travis luckily and happily obliged.”

Maggie’s wedding morning was truly personal and significant. She aimed for a minimalist yet elegant look for her big day. The bride opted for natural makeup and a sleek updo by Los Cabos Makeup, ensuring that her shoulder-less dress would capture the spotlight. Designed by Katherine Tash, her stunning minimal silk gown was complemented by a long veil. Maggie’s wedding look was perfectly finished with a beautiful bouquet of white flowers, orchids, and greenery.

It was an incredibly emotional moment when Maggie’s father saw her in her wedding dress for the first time. Overcome with tears, he was moved by the sight of his stunning daughter, marking the beginning of this special day.

Travis had a fantastic start to his day with his lovely family, looking forward to the moment he would see his soon-to-be wife, Maggie.

When Maggie and Travis locked eyes, their love blossomed even more. The lovebirds enjoyed some alone time before their ceremony, where they would exchange their vows and start their beautiful journey as a family.

Maggie’s love for orchids and greenery set the tone for the ceremony venue, where the talented team of Elena Damy incorporated over 500 orchid stems into the decor. The setting was adorned with abundant white florals, numerous orchids, and candles, creating a modern, clean, and detail-oriented atmosphere. Additionally, small personal details such as handmade fans were arranged for the guests.

Maggie and Travis’ ceremony was beautiful and touching, with their loved ones all around them, joyfully celebrating their special day. It was a magical moment when they were officially pronounced husband and wife, and an enchanting shower of petals filled the air, creating an unforgettable scene of joy and romance. It beautifully concluded with a Mariachi band serenading the newlyweds.

To document their entire wedding day, the couple chose to work with the talented LA76 Photography. Finding the perfect photographer to capture every single moment flawlessly was a top priority for Maggie and Travis.

Maggie adds: “I was immediately drawn to their Instagram. I loved the detailed shots, creative angles, natural moments between couples, capturing the vibe and feelings through a photo, and, of course, those amazing, more grand photos. After talking with Romana, it just felt right. I knew I needed a photographer I would click with and feel comfortable with, and I felt that right off the bat. We felt she could capture the essence of Travis and I and our wedding weekend.”

At the couple’s cocktail hour, guests enjoyed delicious snacks and tasty drinks while enjoying the lively music of the Mariachi band.

The cliff-side reception offered breathtaking views of El Farallon restaurant, nestled between the cliffs of the Pedregal mountain and the Pacific Ocean. The reception was a mix of white flowers, runners adorned with hanging lamps, and a lounge area set up near the dance floor. The elegant place settings featured gold flatware, white flowers, and flickering candles, creating a romantic atmosphere.

Maggie about the chosen venue: “I love its natural beauty and traditional style. From the wonderful staff to the food to the ocean, the hotel Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is the whole experience. No matter where you look, you are captured by its beauty. It was everything we were looking for.

Maggie and Travis’ reception was truly magical. Their loved ones shared their love with the newlyweds and enjoyed heartfelt speeches. One memorable moment was when the couple danced with their parents, adding an unforgettable touch to the wedding day they had always dreamed of.

The wedding continued with the newlyweds and their guests dancing and enjoying the celebration. It was a day that every guest and the newlyweds will cherish forever.
