Sustainability, fashion, and deeply personal storytelling shaped every layer of this celebration in San José del Cabo. Brynne and Robert designed a wedding that reflected not only their love for each other, but their shared values, creative careers, and the families who raised them. The result was a day that felt intentional in every sense, modern yet soulful, refined yet warm. Every vendor brought their full heart to the process, and through the lens and film of Tanner Castro, we can step back into those fleeting, intimate moments as if they are happening right now.
Location: San Jose del Cabo, Mexico
Style: Organic, Fashion-Led, Chic
Time of planning: 1,5 year
Number of guests: 100
Setting: Resort
Season: Spring
Brynne Fiorita and Robert Amos met on May 23, 2019, at Hair of the Dog on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. “If you know it, you know the chances of finding love in a place like that are hopeless,” Brynne laughs. She was out celebrating a friend’s graduate school graduation. Rob was out “for no reason at all – just a good time.” They locked eyes the moment he walked in. It took Rob some time to make his way across the bar. When the night ended and Brynne headed for the subway, she assumed that was it. Then Rob ran down the subway stairs in full cinematic fashion. “Giving full Hitch style,” Brynne says. They walked around her neighborhood until late, and the rest truly became history.
Their wedding date carried a quiet full circle. The same friend Brynne was celebrating the night they met had another graduation the day before the wedding and flew straight to Cabo to be there. “She gets degrees when we have relationship milestones haha!” Brynne jokes.
Concept & Location
The couple chose Acre Resort in San José del Cabo, Mexico, a lush farm and resort known for its sustainability ethos. Brynne’s background in sustainability guided the search from the beginning. She and Rob wanted a venue that valued the earth in the same way they do. Acre’s green Michelin star restaurant and working farm sealed the decision.
The couple collaborated closely with Lola del Campo and Elsa Alvarez Alcantara. Brynne arrived with a detailed design lookbook. “I made a design lookbook for Lola del Campo, my planner / design / floral genius,” she shares. “We flew down to Cabo in the Fall of 2024 to work on mockups together.”
LA76 Photography and Tanner Castro were brought into the process early, ensuring the visual storytelling would feel as intentional and intimate as the design itself.
Beyond aesthetics, the planning team supported Brynne in a very real way. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2022 and manages it daily. On the wedding day, Lola and her team monitored her blood sugar so she could stay present for the ceremony. “It felt incredible to let go,” Brynne says. She sipped orange juice before walking down the aisle to correct a low and took insulin after the ceremony. “I did what I needed to do for my health and carried on to enjoy the day,” she shares. That resilience quietly defined the day.
Wedding Day
Bridal Morning & Fashion
Brynne searched for her gown in New York and Los Angeles with one goal in mind. She wanted drama without heaviness. She wanted something chic and intentional. She ultimately chose a custom design by Sarah Varca of VARCA, crafted from Japanese tissue taffeta with a strapless basque waist and exposed corset back.
The gown felt architectural yet organic, aligning perfectly with the wedding’s visual language. A custom mesh scarf for the reception added movement, and a dramatic pleated veil by Homa completed the ceremony look. “The combination with the dress was lethal lol,” Brynne says.
Her shoes included Jimmy Choo heels for the ceremony and Dear Frances mesh flats for comfort. She later changed into a metallic mini dress by LoveShackfancy for dancing, paired briefly with rented Tom Ford sandals via Pickle.
Jewelry carried deep family meaning. Her rings were custom-designed by Carbon & Hyde using family heirloom stones. She also wore pieces from Catbird. Her wedding bag was created with her tailor Mabel from 7th Bone Tailoring, using the train of her mother’s wedding dress. “Showing this to my mother on the morning of the wedding was so special.”
Hair and makeup by Piel Canela Makeup Studio emphasized bronze, glowy tones with soft waves for the ceremony and a French twist for the reception. Brynne also wore a vintage silk slip from Tab Vintage while getting ready, another nod to her commitment to sustainable fashion.
"Brynne’s sense of style and fashion is inspiring. I love how they incorporated their values for sustainable fashion, design, and organic elements in their wedding choices."

Groom’s Getting Ready & First Look
Robert wore a custom tuxedo from SuitSupply with shoes by Toboot New York. His look was classic black tie with subtle personal details.
The first look unfolded beneath Acre’s tropical greenery. Brynne approached Robert along a path lined with palms. They exchanged handwritten notes moments before seeing each other, nearly dissolving Brynne’s makeup in tears.
Ceremony
Lola describes the vision of the ceremony as modern yet deeply personal. Curves became a recurring motif. A serpentine ceremony aisle mirrored the reception tables. Draped white fabric at the altar echoed the draping on the tables. Custom curved white velvet chairs reinforced the design language from ceremony to dinner.
A white grand piano anchored the space, with live music filling the air as guests arrived, adding a layer of movement and emotion that felt completely organic. Bridesmaids carried ivory silk organza bags by Room Shop filled with cascading florals, an unexpected and fashion-forward detail.
The vows stood out as the most unforgettable moment. “We will never get over it!” Brynne says. “Our friends said they’ve never cried harder at a wedding!!”
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour honored the place where their love began. A custom stone-inspired bar displayed a linen sign reading “Our story began at the bar.” A curated charcuterie and grazing table showcased local fruits, cheeses, and breads.
“Food is our love language,” Brynne explains. Acre’s farm-to-table menu featured shrimp skewers on hot stones, braised beef, roasted chicken, heirloom tomatoes, and family-style service.
Private Moment
One of the most intimate moments came quietly, between ceremony and celebration. Brynne gave herself an insulin shot. Tanner Castro Films captured that moment with care. “My videographer Tanner captured the moment I gave myself a shot – and it truly gives me peace to see myself handle my health so beautifully in that moment on that day.”
Decor & Design
The reception design echoed the ceremony’s curves. Long serpentine tables draped in soft white fabric wound beneath mango trees and string lights. Sculptural calla lilies, orchids, moss, and textured greenery rose from the tables like living art.
Stone-inspired welcome signage, seating chart structures by Bunker Project Studio, and fabric stationery by US Creating tied the aesthetic together. Every detail repeated the same language of strength, softness, and continuity.
Lola del Campo led the floral and design execution with Florenta. The arrangements leaned into texture and movement rather than excess. The palette remained crisp white with organic greens and subtle touches of pink.
Reception
Music carried deep emotional weight. Brynne’s father passed away when she was three years old. For the father-daughter dance, she began with her mother to an instrumental version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” She then invited all guests to join her on the dance floor to “Wish You Were Here.” “It just lifts your soul,” she says.
As night fell, hundreds of candles flickered across the tables. The DJ set by Alex DJ Cabo Events incorporated a curated playlist reflective of Brynne and Rob’s music industry careers.
“Our videographer Tanner from Tanner Castro Films was the most fun to work with, his style meant we had our most intimate moments captured from angles that make watching the film feel like we were living the day over again,” added the couple.
Cold sparklers by Pirotecnia Los Cabos illuminated the cake cutting. After the party, the couple exited through Acre’s animal sanctuary.
This wedding blended modern design with emotional depth, sustainability with celebration, and fashion with legacy. Through intentional planning and a deeply supportive team, Brynne and Robert created a day that was not only beautiful, but profoundly meaningful.
Advice from the couple:
• The more help, the better! It’s hard to relinquish / delegate, especially if you’re someone with such a specific creative vision and ethical code when it comes to sourcing, etc.
• There will be things that don’t go the way you envision. Allow yourself the space to be okay with that. Once you see each other at your ceremony, nothing else exists, nothing matters at all..
• Also, try to take a step back to pause with your partner a few moments throughout the weekend. Take it in. That’s the best part. Some of the best moments were the ones unplanned.
