Alana Hadid Marries Ross Williams in an Intimate Backyard L.A. Wedding

Alana Hadid, the eldest sister of Gigi and Bella Hadid, married Ross Williams in an intimate backyard ceremony at their father’s home in Los Angeles. Unsurprisingly, the couple were thoughtful and intentional throughout the planning process by choosing Alana’s father’s home as the venue and setting the date for October 18, which is also Ross’s parents’ wedding anniversary, they shared with Vogue

For her dress, Alana knew she wanted something vintage and ultimately chose an archival Vivienne Westwood gown. She wore it with meaningful accessories, including her mother Mary’s amethyst earrings and a custom diamond-and-gold wedding band by Sofia Kaman. Her bridesmaids, sisters Bella and Gigi, who both went barefoot, and Marielle, each wore green dresses of their own choice.

The ceremony was as thoughtful as every other detail, with Gigi and Bella standing beside Alana as bridesmaids, and her brother Anwar serving as “male of honor.” One of the couple’s closest friends officiated the ceremony.

At the reception, Alana, whose father, Mohamed, is Palestinian, was intentional about incorporating her heritage, beginning with a drinks service featuring a specialty espresso and matcha bar. As the celebration unfolded, she and Ross shared their first dance to “No Machine” by Adrianne Lenker, followed by a heartfelt father-daughter dance to “Yesterday” by The Beatles, her father, Mohamed’s, favorite song.

Looking back on the day, it became everything Alana and Ross had hoped for, and even more meaningful than they imagined. “I’m so honored that so many people made the effort to come from all over the world, people who are important to us now but also important to our marriage going forward,” Alana shared with Vogue.
