A longtime favorite of fashion-forward brides, Vivienne Westwood has finally unveiled its long-awaited 2027 bridal collections, with new pieces across both the Made-to-Order and Couture lines. Each collection brings its own take on the Vivienne Westwood bride, and both stand out.

The Made-to-Order collection presents a selection of gowns and separate styling pieces, including veils, gloves, trains, and boleros, in ivory and color each season. It carries the house’s key design notes, using traditional tailoring techniques combined with historical and experimental pattern cutting. Everything is designed, sampled, and handcrafted locally in England, part of Westwood’s aim to support and sustain traditional craft, skilled workmanship, and the communities around them.

Then there’s the Couture collection, which amazes with its pieces. The 2027 Couture Bridal collection presents eleven looks, inspired by metamorphosis. Drawing on the butterfly, it reflects the bride’s natural transition from ceremony to celebration, a philosophy the house has long followed, pairing historical craftsmanship with experimental technical detailing so a look can evolve. Here, those traditions show up in bustle systems, detachable trains, and interchangeable elements that allow multiple expressions of the same look. At the heart of the collection is one idea: a single gown, transformed throughout the celebration. Each couture gown is a bespoke service, made to measure for the bride and handcrafted by Westwood’s couturiers in the London atelier, with embroidery, beading, appliqué, and custom finishings explored along the way.
