Inside Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns’s Oceanfront Malibu Wedding

Model and entrepreneur Jordyn Woods and New York Knicks center and NBA champion Karl-Anthony Towns are married. On Tuesday, August 11, they quietly made it official at the Santa Barbara courthouse for their civil ceremony, before exchanging vows in front of family and friends on Saturday, August 15, at a private home perched above the ocean in Malibu.

The celebration took place at a cliffside estate, with event planner Mindy Weiss overseeing the entire weekend. “I’ve known her for about a decade,” Jordyn told Vogue. “Comfortability and working with someone who understands my vision were important to me. Also, when you have a six-month timeline, someone who makes it feel manageable. She never once stressed me out.”

The ceremony played out against sweeping ocean views, a lush floral arch overflowing with white blooms, greenery, and soft grasses framing the altar, while clusters of white roses and hydrangeas lined the aisle for an organic, garden-like feel. Jordyn walked down the aisle in a custom Danielle Frankel strapless silk-wool ballgown, a draped bodice, full skirt, attached neck wrap, and delicate lace appliqués, carrying a cascading bouquet of white calla lilies. Karl-Anthony matched the moment in a custom Ralph Lauren Purple Label look. For the reception, Jordyn stayed with Danielle Frankel but shifted into something more dramatic, a strapless gown layered in Chantilly and elderflower lace.

The guest list looked like a mix of Hollywood and the NBA in equal measure. Kylie Jenner, a close friend of the bride, came with Timothée Chalamet, and Hailey and Justin Bieber were there too. Ben Stiller, a longtime Knicks fan, attended with his wife, Christine Taylor. Among the other guests were Tracy Morgan, Jada Pinkett Smith, Michael B. Jordan, Gayle King, and a lineup of NBA players including Jalen Brunson, Mohamed Diawara, Andre Drummond, Josh Hart, and Chris Paul.
