Actress Anne Hathaway is expecting her third child with her husband, producer and actor Adam Shulman. She revealed the news on Friday morning in a video posted to her Instagram, stepping into frame in a long, flowing white skirt, her arms folded across her midsection, then dropping them to reveal her bump with a smile. She captioned the post “x Baby, I’m yours x,” set to Barbara Lewis’s 1965 song of the same name.

The announcement wasn’t entirely in line with Hathaway’s original plan. She later told People that paparazzi photos had essentially forced her hand. Anne and Adam discussed it and decided to share the news themselves — so that it would feel more personal and come from her directly. Hathaway and Shulman, who married in 2012, have two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.
The news arrives at an especially full moment in her career: 2026 has already brought the releases of The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Mother Mary, with The Odyssey still ahead. By every measure, it’s shaping up to be quite a year.
