Mahum and Pablo’s wedding unfolded across a few days in Morocco, each one revealing a different side of their story. They built a celebration that moved between calm and energy, minimalism and color, intimacy and a full-scale party. The main wedding day at Beldi Country Club felt refined and grounded, while the Shendi in the desert turned into something vibrant and immersive. Pixel captured every layer of it with a sharp, attentive eye, turning fleeting moments into a wonderful story.

Inspiration & Planning Process

The couple approached their wedding with a clear direction. They wanted contrast. The wedding day leaned into a neutral palette that felt simple, elegant, and classic. The Shendi celebration embraced color, music, and movement. Mahum drew inspiration from festivals, imagining the evening as a full experience rather than a structured event.

MAEV Weddings translated that vision into something cohesive. The team balanced understated ceremony details with layered textures and vibrant accents for the desert night. Every element was considered but never overworked.

Welcome Day

The welcome dinner brought everyone together in a relaxed setting by the pool. Guests arrived in light, effortless looks and settled into the rhythm of the weekend. Conversations flowed easily, and the atmosphere felt open and unforced.

Bridal Fashion & Morning

Mahum chose a gown by Savannah Miller paired with Badgley Mischka shoes and Completedworks jewelry. The look was clean and structured while still soft in movement. Her styling, created by Something Blue, stayed fresh and natural, allowing her features to come through without distraction.

The morning moved at a calm pace. Small interactions, quiet laughter, and subtle moments shaped the atmosphere.

Groom’s Getting Ready

Pablo wore a Suit Supply look that matched the understated direction of the day. His getting ready moments felt equally relaxed, with close friends around him and a sense of anticipation building naturally.

First Look

The first look stayed private and unstructured. It unfolded in a quiet corner surrounded by greenery. The moment felt honest and unfiltered, giving them space to take everything in before the ceremony.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place inside a greenhouse at Beldi Country Club. Natural light filled the space, softened by greenery and floral details. Mahum walked down the aisle toGodspeedby James Blake, performed live by singer Sarah Ndri.

"It was a truly beautiful moment!"

Her brother officiated the ceremony, blending emotional depth with subtle humor. The vows felt personal and direct, reflecting who they are as a couple rather than following a traditional script.

Cocktail Hour

The cocktail hour unfolded outdoors with a natural flow. Guests moved between conversations, drinks in hand, as the atmosphere slowly shifted toward the evening. There was no strict structure. People found their own rhythm.

Mahum and Pablo made a point to step away together throughout the day, even briefly, to take everything in. These pauses became some of the most meaningful moments.

Pixel captured these interactions with precision. Small gestures, shared glances, and the surrounding atmosphere come together into a story that feels layered and intentional. Their video work carries that same rhythm, dynamic, detailed, and deeply connected to the energy of the day.

Decor & Reception

The reception design leaned into warm tones and natural textures. Florals by The Bloom Room added depth and color without overpowering the setting. Long tables, soft lighting, and layered details created a space that felt inviting and lived-in.

Dinner transitioned smoothly into dancing. DJ Almass guided the energy through a mix of genres, moving from nostalgic tracks to Afrobeats and reggaeton. The dance floor stayed full, and the evening unfolded without interruptions.

The couple chose to skip traditional elements like cake-cutting and the bouquet toss. This decision allowed the night to feel continuous and focused on connection.

Under Desert Skies

The Shendi celebration took place in the desert at Caravan Agafay and brought a completely different atmosphere. Guests arrived in traditional attire, filling the space with color and texture.

Dhol drummers led the procession, setting the tone from the start. The energy felt immediate and immersive. Mahum changed into a second look by Immoral London, which moved beautifully within the setting.

The evening built from sunset cocktails into dinner and then into a full dance floor. At one point, Mahum stepped behind the DJ booth for her own set, something she had prepared specifically for this moment. The crowd responded instantly, and the night reached a high that felt natural and unplanned.

Mahum and Pablo created a wedding that reflected their story without following expectations. Each part of the celebration felt distinct yet connected. The contrast between calm and energy gave the entire experience a strong sense of identity. They stayed focused on what mattered to them, and that clarity shaped every decision.

"We both felt euphoric and even though this marked the end of the wedding festivities, we ended on a massive high."

Advice from the couple:

• I think we underestimated how demanding the process would be, down to minute details like napkin colours and menu fonts. We knew that all we wanted was to celebrate our love with our favourite people, and that kept us going through all the admin!

• Know what you want for your day and stick with it – people with have their opinions and questions for you, but if you know as a couple what matters to you, other people’s views won’t matter!

• Take your time with planning, it builds slowly but suddenly you are trying to complete twenty tasks at once! And most of all, that your wedding can be authentic to you as a couple, without following traditions and norms. It was the reason we loved our wedding so much, it felt like an extension of us!
