Soraya and Miguel Ángel’s love story started with an unexpected meeting at a fashion show. She is a singer, and he was a model at that time. When she saw him, she said: “He is going to be the father of my children!” Since then, their connection has only deepened, leading to a beautiful family with their daughters Manuela and Olivia. Their simple yet heartfelt engagement set the stage for a summer wedding where they share another chapter of their lives with their loved ones.

Entrusting the event’s details to family friend and wedding planner Gloria Duque, the couple ensured their special day was in capable hands. Gloria’s personal touch and deep understanding of their preferences were evident in every aspect of the wedding including coordination of all the vendors and the entire wedding decorations.

The bride hails from Cáceres, Spain, and to pay homage to her roots, the lovebirds opted for a private mansion in the heart of the city as their wedding venue. The unique choice of a greenhouse, constructed from remnants of an old Madrid cinema, added a historical charm to the ceremony.

The wedding’s décor theme, inspired by “The Great Gatsby” and Art Deco, featured a sophisticated palette of white, black, and gold. That allowed Soraya to consider bolder options. She stunned in a chic two-piece custom-designed gown by one of the best designers in the country who combined Parisian fabrics elegance with modern sophistication.

Choosing their wedding photographer was easy for the couple. They highly valued refined taste, skill, and an elegant touch. They were amazed by Diego De Rando‘s work. Diego brings a distinct style to wedding photography, leveraging his fashion photography background and creating a blend of fresh, natural, and artistically inspired imagery. That’s why looking away from these stunning bridal photos is so difficult!

The groom Miguel Ángel complemented her style perfectly in a classic tuxedo.

As Soraya is a singer, music is a big part of her life. She wanted to mirror it on her wedding day and made sure that music played a significant role during the event. As she walked down the aisle, Cristina Ramos’s “The Duo of Flowers” performance from the opera Lakmé echoed beautifully through the venue. It was an incredible and unforgettable moment.

In a simple yet meaningful ceremony, Soraya and Miguel Ángel exchanged their vows. The ceremony became even more special when their two daughters joined them at the arch. This moment highlighted the family’s close bond and added a warm, personal touch to the wedding, making it not just about the couple, but about their family coming together.

The cocktail hour kicked off in the front garden with the flamenco group Cachaba setting a lively Sevillian tone, getting everyone on their feet and dancing non-stop. Following the drinks and dancing, guests moved down to the main esplanade to dine outdoors, surrounded by the lush gardens of the house. The gathering was adorned with celebrities and public figures from the entertainment and music industries, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

The floral arrangements featured various elegant white blooms complemented by candles and glass accents. Black tablecloths were used to highlight the gold plates and cutlery. The bride and groom’s table was decorated with two peacocks made for the occasion by a dream art designer and friend of the couple. Art Deco lamps on the imperial tables and Gold Tiffany chairs added to the magnificence and romance of the setting.

Lighting was a significant part of the design project, as it was an afternoon wedding with an outdoor evening dinner. A powerful setup beautifully illuminated the place. A tunnel of diamond micro LEDs over the dinner access bridge created a magical entrance, while cascades of micro LED curtains behind the couple’s table.

Diego De Rando, the photographer, given complete creative freedom by the couple, masterfully captured the essence of the couple and their special day. His lens focused on the love, emotions, and stunning decorations, portraying the couple’s significant glamour, chic, and elegance. Each photograph is a vivid representation of the deep connection between Soraya and Miguel Ángel. This images, more than just memories, are captivating works of art that we want to look through again and again.

The dinner featured Filipa Carvalho’s soulful fados, celebrating Soraya’s Portuguese heritage. Post-dinner, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as Andrés from Izon Events and his team of DJs ramped up the party, keeping the dance floor lively and ensuring a memorable, fun-filled evening for all.

Soraya and Miguel Ángel’s wedding showed the importance of trusting your wedding planner and photographer and allowing creative freedom for a unique and memorable celebration.

Their wedding wasn’t just a union of two people but a celebration of love, family, and cultural richness, marked by its stunning setting, elegant décor, and unforgettable moments.
