Stephanie and Nicolas had been friends for a long time before they became a couple. Often crossing paths in social gatherings and mutual sports, the quieter times during COVID led them beyond friendship to a more profound relationship. Nicolas was quite persistent in getting Stephanie to go out with him. Not wanting to ruin their friendship, Stephanie took quite some time to decide and was very happy she finally leaned into it!
The wedding day dawned bright and full of promise, with Stephanie, surrounded by her dearest friends, embarking on her bridal transformation. The centerpiece of her bridal look was a breathtaking silk gown by Pronovias, refined with an intricately embroidered cape, a testament to timeless elegance. This ensemble was brought to perfection with a pair of Stuart Weitzman heels, adding just the right touch of glamour. Meanwhile, her bridesmaids, in pearl-toned silk dresses, provided a harmonious backdrop to Stephanie’s stunning appearance.
Stephanie opted for an elegantly simple hairstyle—a bun that exuded grace and sophistication, complemented by a makeup palette that enhanced her natural beauty without overshadowing it. A touching detail was the portrait of Stephanie’s father attached to her wedding bouquet.
Nicolas’ morning, surrounded by his closest friends, was filled with anticipation and camaraderie. His choice of attire—a sleek black velvet jacket—struck the perfect balance between traditional elegance and modern style, setting the tone for the day ahead.
The first look between Stephanie and Nicolas was a fairy tale scene. Julia from Juno Photo captured the anticipation, emotion, and evidence of pure love in their eyes with artistic finesse. Each photograph was a masterpiece, radiating the warmth and affection that defined their relationship, immortalizing the moment they first met each other in their wedding attire.
Nicolas and Stephanie came from families of golfers, so the choice of venue was as evident as it was special for them. Stephanie’s family has been Mount Bruno Country Club members for a long time and has always been where she wished to marry. It is also an essential place in the couple’s lives, so celebrating their wedding was a unique opportunity for them. They invited their closest friends and family to discover this special place. This place will continue to be important in the couple’s life as they share it with their future kids and create more family memories.
Stephanie recalls the warmth and comfort of their wedding day: “It truly was the nicest day of the summer in our area, which greatly contributed to the magical day we had. I am convinced this was my dad’s contribution from heaven.”
As all the guests gathered for the ceremony and took their seats, a pleasant melody began to play, and the radiant bride made her way down the aisle to her beloved, Nicolas, who was waiting for her at the arch. The guests witnessed a beautiful moment as the couple exchanged vows. It was so touching that some attendees couldn’t hold back their tears. This was a magnificent moment, and each photo taken by Juno Photo captured the beauty of it all.
The cocktail hour before the reception, held outdoors, was a delightful interlude for quiet conversations and enjoyable drinks. Guests relished in the pleasant atmosphere, mingling and enjoying cocktails under the open sky.
While the guests enjoyed their drinks, the couple took some time to have sunset portraits taken. Julia of Juno Photo captured stunning shots during the golden hour, encapsulating the moment’s aesthetic and weaving their love into the beauty of the sunset.
The reception venue was like something out of a fairy tale, all adorned in a classic black-and-white theme but with a touch of modern accents. Instead of traditional candles, each table featured beautiful white lamps casting a soft glow, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The tables were decorated with white roses and tablecloths, providing a sophisticated contrast to the sleek black chairs. The DJ’s area was also uniquely decorated, framed by an arch covered in lush greenery and “baby’s breath,” with disco balls adding a playful twist. This blend of classic elegance and contemporary details made the reception truly memorable.
“Combining Pinterest and Instagram was my main source of inspiration and helped refine my ideas and the all-around vibe I sought. Alisson at Raisonnable Events instantly understood what I had in mind and was so helpful in guiding me from Pinterest inspo to life décor.” shared Stephanie.
The reception was filled with congratulatory speeches, friendly chatter, and an atmosphere that was both touching and heartwarming, making the evening exceptionally pleasant.
The first dance of the bride and groom was a poignant and tender moment, capturing the essence of their love and connection.
The bride changed into a second dress, a stunning champagne-colored satin gown fully adorned with beading that sparkled with every move, creating a magical shimmer in the light. This new look elicited admiration from all the guests.
The cake-cutting ceremony was a beautiful and symbolic moment: the cake was heart-shaped, with the meaningful inscription “Pour la vie,” symbolizing their lifelong commitment.
The evening after the reception was filled with dancing and joy. Excellent music and the accompaniment of a saxophone added a unique flair to the night.
Advice from couple:
• Stay true to yourselves and insist on the things you want! You will be looking back on this day for a long time, so make sure it reflects who you are and not anybody else. On the big day, sit back and enjoy every moment to the fullest—it really does go by so quickly.
