Naples Grace Meets New York Chic in a Romantic Spring Wedding

Location: Naples, Florida, USA
Setting: Country Club
Wedding season:
Spring
How long did the couple plan the event: 1 year

Number of guests: 130
Wedding theme/style:
Naples & NYC chic, romantic.

Andrew and Elizabeth met while working for Bank of America in NYC in an investment field. Andrew would ask Liz to run an analysis during late-night work sessions. Liz always thought Andrew was cute, so she would drop everything to prioritize his tasks.
Andrew organized a surprise proposal for Elizabeth, inviting her siblings to make it special. Shortly after, they started to plan their beautiful wedding in Naples.

For her wedding look, Liz wanted something that is relevant for years to come and would not be considered a trend. This extended to the dress, natural makeup, and classic updo.

They had the pleasure to find out that Elizabeth was 5 1/2 months pregnant for her wedding. She had to go to try on her Berta Bridal dress every week for the last month before the wedding to make sure she would still be able to wear it. Luckily, it was a perfect fit, even with her baby girl, Camilla, along for the wedding journey.

Before the ceremony, the couple had their first look. Austin Trenholm, the photographer, showed his own style in capturing the wedding’s emotions and energy, using both digital and film cameras to enrich the texture and depth of the images. His use of composition created vivid storytelling that reflects the day’s joy and the couple’s connection.

The open-air ceremony took place at Vineyard Country Club. “Overlooking the blue skies and crisp country club green, we drew in soft, subtle spring colors with pops of bright pinks and calming blue tones. It was a perfectly classic color palette with a modern twist,” said the bride. “Every moment was sophisticated and refined. Each detail had a special purpose and meaning. You could feel the love radiate as we celebrated our picture-perfect union. she continued.

The venue also allowed their puppy, Kima, to be a part of the outdoor ceremony. It was very important to them and provided plenty of laughs when she took off on the golf course.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds joined their guests for a beautiful reception with thoughtful party favors, a champagne tower, and, of course, the cutting of a three-tier cake decorated with pink ranunculi. “This was truly a collaboration of our style as a couple and our team’s ability to design and bring it to fruition in a cohesive, beautiful, and classic way.” commented the bride.

While planning their wedding, the couple bought a house and decided to integrate it into the wedding. “We added patterned blue tiles at each place setting,” shared Liz. They asked their guests to write personal notes on the back of these tiles, which will be used in their home renovation. This way, their wedding memories become a permanent part of their home. “The notes written on these tiles represent the foundation for this new chapter.” the bride concluded.

Advice from the couple:

Have fun planning and try to enjoy every moment because it flies by!
