At WedVibes, we’re always drawn to the stories behind the aesthetics—the vision boards, voice notes, and late-night Pinterest scrolls that quietly shape iconic wedding moments. So, we did what we do best: reached out to real brides who are planning weddings their way. From spontaneous proposals to guest lists made on Google Docs, these brides are rewriting the rules and curating celebrations that feel less like tradition and more like self-expression.
In this series, they open up about the moodboards they can’t stop tweaking, the TikTok trends they’re into, and the vendors who just get it. Expect real love stories, real planning highs (and lows), and plenty of inspiration for your own “main character” moment.

Meet The Couple
Allegra and Natanel are based just outside of Toronto, two people who share a deep love for family, creativity, travel, food, and building a beautiful life together. Allegra is a content creator in the fashion and beauty space, and Natanel has always been her biggest supporter.
How did you meet?
We met when he owned a personal training studio near my home. I was 22 at the time. What started as a simple connection quickly turned into something much deeper, and we’ve been together ever since!
The Proposal
Nat proposed in Ravello on a mountaintop villa overlooking the coast. It was very intimate, with a private chef, a violinist, and the most beautiful setting. It actually started raining during the proposal, which made it feel even more emotional and unforgettable.

The Wedding Vision
1. When and where is your wedding taking place?
Our wedding is taking place in Rome.
2. Describe your wedding in 3 words.
Timeless, Romantic, Elevated.
3. What are three non-negotiable elements for your big day?
A stunning, immersive guest experience, a design that feels timeless (not overly trend-driven), and a fun after-party with a completely different energy.
Planning Process
1. What’s been the highlight of your planning process so far?
Designing the overall aesthetic and bringing the vision to life has been the most exciting part. I love working with my planner, and it’s been very personal and creatively fulfilling.
2. What’s surprised you most about wedding planning?
How many details go into every single decision. It really makes you appreciate the full production behind any wedding.
3. Is there an Instagram account, TikTok trend, or aesthetic you’re secretly loving right now?
I’ve been drawn to more classic, understated references—editorial imagery that feels effortless, with a strong sense of place and timelessness.
4. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting their planning journey?
Stay true to your vision and try not to get overwhelmed by what’s trending. Focus on what genuinely feels like you as a couple, and take the time to be present and enjoy the process.
