The actress Maya Hawke, best known for her role as Robin Buckley on Stranger Things, and singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson married on Valentine’s Day in New York City.
The wedding ceremony was held at St. George’s Episcopal Church and felt both intimate and star-studded. Hawke, 27, walked down the aisle in a striking white gown by Prada with a voluminous skirt, paired with an oversized feathery winter coat — a chic choice for the cold Manhattan day — while Hutson, 35, kept it classic in a custom Prada tuxedo.

Among the famous guests were Hawke’s parents, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, who were photographed arriving in elegant, understated outfits — the mother of the bride in a refuned light blue gown, and Ethan Hawke in a all-black ensemble that complemented the formal tone of the day. Many of her Stranger Things co-stars also came out to support the newlyweds, including Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery andCharlie Heaton. After the service, guests gathered for a reception at The Players Members Club in Manhattan to continue the celebration.
The couple’s story began in the studio, where music first brought them together. Christian, who toured as an opening act for Phoebe Bridgers between 2022 and 2023, later collaborated with Maya on her 2024 album Chaos Angel, further intertwining their creative paths. By early 2024, their connection had subtly moved beyond professional: on Valentine’sDay, Hutson shared a cozy photo of the two sitting side by side on a couch, quietly hinting at their romance. That summer, Maya followed with her own candid Instagram moments — snapshots of the pair stretched out on a bed and traveling together by plane, offering glimpses into their private world.
Last year, Hutson publicly referred to Maya as his fiancée, confirming what many had suspected. Soon after, they stepped onto their first red carpet together at the opening night of John Proctor Is the Villain at the Booth Theatre in New York City, where Maya attended to support her Stranger Things co-star Sadie Sink. By choosing Valentine’s Day for their wedding, the couple came full circle — embracing the date that once softly hinted at their love and turning it into a lifelong anniversary.
