From intimate, private ceremonies to palatial weddings, from epic themed gatherings to nuptials in essential destinations, these gorgeous couples find all kinds of ways to get hitched. Some of them have already celebrated their nuptials two or three times. Some celebrities who had to postpone their big days could finally tie the knot this year. 2022 even gave us two weddings in presidential families.

Rita Ora and Taika Waititi
Rita Ora said “I do” to Taika Waititi during a private ceremony in London, The Sun UK reported on August 8, 2022. “It was a really intimate ceremony and super special for everyone there,” a source told the publication. “Their nearest and dearest can see how madly in love they are.” Even though the duo opted for a small wedding, they plan on hosting a larger celebration in the future, according to the source.
The “For You” singer, who has changed her last name to Waititi-Ora, also confirmed the big news by flashing a wedding band in her Instagram post. Rita — who has also changed her name to Waititi-Ora — wanted a small wedding in order to “keep their relationship as private as possible.”

The Modern Family star and Bachelor in Paradise bartender tied the knot on August 20, 2022 at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California. The couple swapped vows in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by all of their family and friends, including Hyland’s Modern Family co-stars, such as Sofia Vergara, Nolan Gould, Julie Bowen, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
The couple first connected on Twitter in 2016. In 2019, Adams got down on one knee and popped the question while on holiday together in Fiji. The pair planned on getting married in August 2020, but due to concerns about the pandemic, they postponed their wedding multiple times. We’re so happy the couple finally said “I do”!
Sarah has always loved corsets and a feeling of Old World romance, so she was looking for a modern rendition of a Juliet’s dress. She opted for two Vera Wang dresses for her big day – a light ivory silk faille sweetheart ball gown with a hand-pleated bodice and French tulle sleeves and a form-fitting embroidered lace gown with draping sleeves. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck
Just one month after they tied the knot in Las Vegas, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck said “I do” a second time. The couple got married on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in Georgia. The stars swapped vows in a tree-lined tent, and they celebrated with a waterfront dinner and plenty of fireworks.
For their rehearsal dinner the night before JLo wrote: ‘Nothing ever felt more right to me, and I knew we were finally “settling down” in a way you can only do when you understand loss and joy and you are battle tested enough to never take the important things for granted.’
Jennifer Lopez chose three Ralph Lauren dresses for her wedding. The gown she wore down the aisle was made from 1,000 handkerchiefs and 500 meters of fabric, all cut into ruffles that form into a voluminous, romantic skirt. It also featured a turtleneck and a cathedral-length veil. Affleck complemented his wife in a classic Ralph Lauren Couture white tuxedo jacket, black trousers, and a black bow tie.
French designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus tied the knot to his long-time partner, Marco Maestri on August 27 at a gorgeous town hall in the village of Charleval in Bouches-du-Rhône, which is a small scenic region in the South of France. The festivities continued at the Château de Bonneval.
The couple had a beautiful, intimate wedding surrounded by their loved ones. While entering the town hall, Jacquemus walked in, arm-in-arm with his grandmother, Liline, while Maestri rode a 1950s cream convertible MG, accompanied by his mother, Catherine.
The grooms appeared in elegant contrasting colors suits. Simon’s choice was a black Jacquemus tuxedo and matching trousers with a veil peeking out from one of the pockets, while Marco preferred a white loose-fit suit. The guest that stood out the most was Dua Lipa. The singer wore look 15 from Fall 2022 Ready-To-Wear modern bridal collection, Le Papier, a floor-length white sheer gown with a thigh-high slit and embroidered flowers.
Actress Jordana Brewster and ValueAct Capital CEO Mason Morfit wed at a Villa in Montecito in Santa Barbara, California on September 3.
The couple’s ceremony included various cars lined up from the Fast & Furious films — a franchise which Brewster has been a part of since its first film was released in 2001. This film series made the actress internationally famous, as well as to her late co-star, Paul Walker.
Paul’s daughter Meadow Walker was among the wedding guests, as were Jordana’s Fast & Furious onscreen brother Vin Diesel and fellow co-star Ludacris.
Jordana wore a white wedding gown that featured a strapless lace corset bodice with a sweetheart neckline and floral appliques, as well as a mermaid-style skirt, paired with a cathedral-length veil. The groom wore a black tux. Read more.
AnnaSophia Robb and Trevor Paul
AnnaSophia Robb and Trevor Paul wed at Inness, a hotel in upstate New York, under a fall harvest moon.
“It was on the cusp of fall but with the warmth of summer still hanging in the air,” Robb told Vogue. “New York was green and in full bloom.” She wore custom Danielle Frankel for the occasion, accessorized by her grandmother’s diamond studs. The ceremony overlooked the Catskills mountains, while the reception was held in a classic wooden barn.
James Gunn, director of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and DC’s The Suicide Squad, and Jennifer Holland, the “Peacemaker” star, Wed in Colorado, Aspen at Dunbar Ranch.
“After over 7 years together, I finally married the love of my life, @jenniferlholland,” Gunn wrote on Instagram. “What an incredible, beautiful, stunning day surrounded by the most wonderful family and friends in the world.”
Jennifer Holland commented, “I love you @jamesgunn !” “My gratitude is bursting at the seams. Thank you to every single staff member who worked so hard to make this event special for us and for our guests. It was so seamless and stunningly beautiful, I felt like I was in a movie,” she continued in a post of her own.
Their wedding came complete with a moose walking across their venue and a Marvel vs. DC softball game.
Lena Headey and Marc Menchaca
Game of Thrones alum Lena Headey and Ozark actor Marc Menchaca said “I do” on October 6, 2022, in Puglia, Italy. Several of Headey’s former co-stars, such as Sophie Turner, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Fairley, and Conleth Hill, also attended their special day.
Based on a series of photos that a wedding guest posted, Headey sported a silk gown with spaghetti straps and a deep V-neck, and she wore a tulle veil and flowers in her hair. Menchaca donned a navy blue plaid suit and an orange tie for the big day.
Tiffany Trump, daughter of former US President Donald Trump, tied the knot in spectacular style with Michael Boulos, Lebanese Businessman, on November 11. The wedding took place at Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trump’s private member’s club in Palm Beach, Florida
Tiffany was escorted down the aisle before 250 guests by her father. The bride wore a custom dress designed by Elie Saab. She chose the Grecian goddess-inspired gown by the Lebanese designer as a nod to Mr. Boulos’s heritage and thought it fitting for their American-Lebanese wedding. Boulos wore a classic tux and looked dashing in the outfit.
The bride exchanged vows with Michael in front of an altar covered in a halo of blue, pink, and white flowers.

In 2017, actor Taylor Lautner was hosting a game night at his home, when he was introduced to Taylor Dome – a registered nurse, mental health advocate, and founder of the blog Lemons by Tay and the non-profit The Lemons Foundation – by his sister. Before the event, she told her brother: “I’m bringing your future wife!”
The two Taylors tied the knot on November 11, 2022, at Epoch Estate Wines near Paso Robles, California. There were about 100 friends and family members.
The groom sported a classic black tuxedo, while his bride donned a floral-embroidered tulle A-line gown and a cathedral-length veil. Butterflies hold a deeper meaning for Dome, so she added butterfly appliqués to the dress and veil to make them even more personal. Butterfly earrings from Susan Saffron and an engagement ring and wedding band from Ring Concierge completed the bride’s ceremony look.

The eldest granddaughter of President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden exchanged vows with the University of Pennsylvania Law graduate, in an outdoor ceremony on the South Lawn on the morning of November 19, surrounded by friends and family.
The wedding was a private family event. Naomi and Peter have asked that their wedding be a closed to the media.
The bride wore a long-sleeved ballgown featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline and a lace floral mockneck overlay by Ralph Lauren. She finished the look with diamond and pearl earrings by Tiffany & Co. and a sheer trailing veil, with her hair styled in a neat bun. Neal wore a navy three-piece suit, also by Ralph Lauren, and both President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden dressed in blue for the occasion.
