A Rain-Kissed Romance at Villa Balbiano

Our editorial shoot took place at Villa Balbiano, a captivating Italian gem nestled on the western shore of Lake Como. This remarkable historical palazzo, dating back to the late 16th century, now reigns as the largest private residence on the lake, boasting sprawling gardens, an inviting outdoor pool, a private pier, and a charming boathouse. Adorned with exquisite objets d’art and antique furniture curated from esteemed houses like Sotheby’s and Christie’s, Villa Balbiano’s opulent interiors are graced with stunning 17th-century frescoes. With a rich heritage and a harmonious blend of human craftsmanship and natural splendor, Villa Balbiano stands as one of the most glamorous and enchanting destinations on Lake Como.

A standout feature of the shoot was a beautifully adorned table, artfully decorated with an array of fresh fruits and flowers. Handcrafted napkins with the initials of Villa Balbiano, specially crafted in London, added an air of sophistication to the setting. The blend of fruits and flowers on the table created a visually stunning display, complemented by a cake elegantly adorned with delicate ribbons and fruits to match the overall theme.

Throughout the shoot, the bride showcased four distinct outfits, each embodying the latest trends – from luxurious minimalism to chic short dresses with corset, and a delicate gown with an open back, being an inspiration to brides in search of an elegant and refined look.
