Dylan, from California, and Kyle, originally from Connecticut, had both found their way to Miami by chance and met at the University of Miami. Their connection sparked at a fraternity pregame event. Dylan recalls, “I knew I wanted to get to know him. I had told my friend to set us up, and after a few months of playful back and forths, we ended up together.” Their connection deepened over shared passions and contrasting personalities. Dylan is an extroverted, talkative therapist, while Kyle is a reserved data analyst. Together, they dream of a life filled with adventure, travel, dogs, and culinary experiences. “We wish to live a fun, adventurous life together,” Dylan shares, envisioning a future of growing old and building a family together.
To preserve their big day forever, Dylan and Kale entrusted Giselle Films to create their wedding video. She captured the beauty of the place where they first met and conveyed the deep warmth of their feelings for it. Giselle skillfully filled the video with the most important events, making viewers feel like they were present on this special occasion.
The choice of 1 Hotel South Beach as the wedding venue was deeply meaningful for Dylan and Kyle, echoing the cherished beginnings of their relationship. Located in the vibrant heart of Miami, this spot was not only where their romance blossomed during weekend rooftop dates but also where they often relaxed on the beach, savoring the simplicity of the ocean. So when it came time to select a venue for their wedding, the decision was clear for Dylan. She expressed, “When we got engaged, I knew I wanted to have our wedding there. I told my planner, ‘If you can get me the hotel we want, I’ll book you right now.’ And she did!” They celebrated their winter wedding with 180 guests when Miami’s weather is at its finest—cool and inviting.
Dylan and Kyle spent the morning in the hotel with their wedding party and family. For his wedding look the groom chose navy blue suit, white dress shirt and matching navy tie. He spent his morning surrounded by his groomsmen sharing laughs and anticipation for the ceremony.
Dylan chose a stunning Galia Lahav wedding gown, enchanted by the craftsmanship of Israeli designers. “I’ve always known I wanted an Israeli-made dress, and when I saw this Galia Lahav design, I immediately knew it was the one for me. I visited the store, and that was it—nothing else compared. This dress was meant for me,” she recalls. The dress, sparkly and glamorous, made her feel whimsical and princess-like.
Dylan’s beauty team also played a significant role in her day. Gabriella J handled her makeup with a calming and vibrant energy, while Keisha from Junkie Bride managed her hair with a cool, collected approach. Both were with her from morning to night, ensuring she looked flawless throughout the celebrations.
As the sun cast a warm glow over the lush, green lawn, the stage was set for Dylan and Kyle’s first look. They shared this tender moment before the festivities began, walking hand in hand around the hotel grounds and enjoying a beautiful photo session.
The ceremony began with the signing of the ketubah, the traditional Jewish marriage contract, witnessed by their families.
As the sun set, guests gathered outside the hotel for the ceremony. The wedding party entered with energy and smiles, adding a festive touch to the atmosphere. Following tradition, the bride walked down the aisle hand in hand with her father. The ceremony took place under a large arch adorned with white flowers and included meaningful Jewish customs such as the couple drinking from a shared cup of wine and the groom placing a veil over the bride’s face, symbolizing his commitment to care for her.
When the couple sealed their vows with a kiss, fireworks burst into the evening sky, creating a stunning backdrop and celebrating the start of their new life together. “The fireworks were something I always wanted and wasn’t sure I would be able to achieve,” shared the bride.
The reception in a hotel’s ballroom was a stunning display of classic elegance, exactly as the bride envisioned. The decor featured tables decorated with grand arrangements of white flowers and greenery, lit by the gentle glow of candles in tall glass holders, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere. The setting was completed with transparent chairs and pristine white linens, encapsulating the bride’s wish for a clean, glamorous setting. She shared, “I wanted to do a classic wedding, with all whites and greens as it matched the boho chic aesthetic of the one hotel.”
The couple’s first dance took place under a canopy of lush greenery, illuminated by the dazzling backdrop of fireworks, setting a magical scene. The highlight was the traditional Hora dance: the crowd cheered as Dylan and Kyle were lifted high above, creating an exhilarating and memorable moment for everyone involved. And a saxophonist and an Israeli DJ kept the dance floor vibrant throughout the night.
As the night progressed, Dylan slipped into her second outfit—a stunning Vivienne Westwood dress. “I’m obsessed with my second dress. It was the embodiment of classy and sexy in one and the perfect to dance in,” Dylan shared enthusiastically.
Advice from the couple:
• Trust your gut with your decisions for your wedding. We are Israeli, so the cookie-cutter timelines from planners wouldn’t work for every culture, and that is okay!
• Advocate for yourself so the timeline is perfect. Additionally, book makeup and hair early. We planned it for 10 am, and I ended up being 2 hours late to my first look, which took away a lot of time for photos and added a lot of stress to the day for me.
• It’s also essential to trust your team. I had a nightmare story where a makeup artist canceled my bridal party the day before the wedding, so choose your vendors wisely and trust your gut. You know best what will work for you!
• Moreover, enjoy every moment. I ensured that my phone was locked away in the safe for the entire weekend so I did not have to deal with any issues. I also hired a content creator, who took so much content that I got to watch the day after my wedding. This will help keep you patient while waiting for your professional photos and videos.
