A Soulful and Elegant Wedding on the Pacific Coast

Location: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Setting: Villa
Season: Fall
The number of guests: 10
Wedding theme/style: Natural, intimate, elegance.

Miranda and Erik first met as high school students. A chance encounter at a Barnes & Noble bookstore sparked their beautiful and genuine love. Erik proposed to Miranda nine years later, culminating in a private engagement at Mayfield Park in Austin, Texas.

Having attended many weddings as guests, Miranda and Erik concluded they wanted their wedding to be more intimate and personal, for close friends and family only. They chose a charming villa in Puerto Vallarta with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Their four-day wedding celebration was perfect for realizing their dream of an intimate gathering.

Given the destination wedding, the couple entrusted the event planning to The Green Planner, led by wedding planner Citlalli. This decision paid off, as Citlalli expertly managed everything, allowing them to relax and fully enjoy their special day, even amidst unpredictable weather.

On the morning of their wedding, the couple spent time together. Erik assisted Miranda in putting on her wedding dress, creating memorable moments that became cherished memories of the day. Miranda selected a romantic gown by Aleena Leena, made of flowing fabric and a long train. At the same time, Erik donned a classic black tuxedo adorned with a satin lapel, embodying elegance and style.

A particularly poignant moment was when Miranda’s mother gifted Erik her father’s wristwatch, a family heirloom. This was especially meaningful as her father had passed away a year before the wedding.

The ceremony was held on the villa’s open veranda, overlooking the bay. The choice of an elegant style was evident in every detail, brought to life by The Green Planner team. Floral arrangements of white hydrangeas and roses, abundant with greenery, created a delightful, romantic atmosphere. Transparent chairs helped maintain spaciousness, preserving the area’s airy and elegant feel.

As the soft, tender sounds of a violin filled the air, the beautiful bride made her entrance, and it seemed as the time stood still. It was a truly magical moment when Erik watched his beloved walk down the aisle . Guests witnessed an excellent ceremony where the couple exchanged heartfelt vows they had written themselves, creating a touching and emotional atmosphere. The stunning ocean view and the ceremony area’s elegant decor enhanced the occasion’s romance, making it an unforgettable experience.

After the ceremony, it was time for the cocktail hour—an ideal opportunity to unwind, mingle, and enjoy delicious cocktails. Guests shared their emotions from the ceremony, and the newlyweds took the chance to spend time with each attendee, making it a personalized and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Amanda Noel’s Photos captured beautiful portraits of the couple. When they saw Amanda’s photographs, they realized she was the perfect photographer to document their wedding as they envisioned. Her attention to detail, emotion, and ability to capture candid moments impressed them.

The reception venue looked enchanting. A rectangular table draped in white linen, adorned with floral arrangements of white blooms and pink candles in golden holders, created an incredibly cozy atmosphere. This setting was ideally suited for the intimate wedding, adding charm and warmth.

The reception was filled with an atmosphere of love and warmth. Heartfelt congratulations from family and friends made for beautiful moments. The air was filled with clinking glasses, quiet conversations, and laughter, creating a joyful and memorable celebration.

The newlyweds participated in the beautiful tradition of cutting the wedding cake. This memorable and symbolic moment represented a promise of a beautiful life together, marking a highlight of their special day.

The reception evening was full of fun, and spontaneously, Erik Miranda and their friends decided to jump into the pool, which turned up the fun quotient. Guests changed into swimwear and continued the celebration, adding a playful and joyous end to the day.
