Laurelle and Ryan crossed paths at the University of Florida, where Ryan pursued his studies in Law School while Laurelle was a senior. Their fateful encounter took place in a lively bar, introduced by mutual friends. Over time, their connection deepened and blossomed into a beautiful relationship.
Ryan booked a trip to Florida when the Breakers in Palm Beach reopened for the first time since the pandemic began. The couple went for the weekend to relax and enjoy the world opening back up again. Both passionate about witnessing the beauty of the sunrise, Laurelle, and Ryan decided to wake up early on Saturday to take a tranquil stroll along the beach at sunrise. As they were walking, Ryan stopped and knelt to propose where a photographer he flew in captured the special moment. Later on, after taking some photos, Ryan surprised Laurelle by arranging a dinner gathering with her entire family and a few friends.
Laurelle and Ryan chose to do a destination wedding as they deeply admire Mexican culture and ancient rituals that are still present today. Their vision for the wedding weekend was to create a joyful celebration that would also serve as an unforgettable vacation for all their guests. It indeed became the perfect blend of everything they hold dear. The festivities started with a memorable rehearsal dinner, setting the tone for the weekend.
The bride chose a stunning Galia Lahav wedding gown for her special day. Known for its exquisite bridal couture, Galia Lahav seamlessly blends contemporary fashion with traditional elegance, resulting in breathtaking creations that capture the essence of modern romance.
The bride preferred a simple bouquet but wanted it to align with the overall concept. Therefore, she chose a unique combination of feathers and pampas grass to create her bouquet.
Anticipation filled the air as Laurelle and Ryan prepared to see each other for the first time. As Laurelle descended the steps, the wind was playfully dancing with her veil, creating an ethereal aura around her.
The couple’s vision for their wedding was centered around creating a laid-back and bohemian atmosphere. The delicate hues of white and beige gracefully enveloped every aspect of the celebration, from the decor to the attire, creating a cohesive and serene ambiance. For ceremony decor, Laurelle and Rayn wanted something other than an arch on both sides of the aisle to frame the water view behind them. Since the venue – The Cape Hotel has a very concrete look, they decided to soften it by putting putting some pottery on the edges, pampas grass, greenery, white, and some colored terracotta-like flowers.

There are three things Laurelle absolutely adores about Ryan: “Ryan is caring, generous, and such a thoughtful partner.”
Laurelle shares: “We really wanted the dinner to be minimal with lots of candles and some flower accents, and the dancefloor jungle room to shine with disco balls, lots of palms, and greenery.”
The couple was very excited about everything: the ceremony, making that super unique, the mariachi band, and the jungle room for dancing!
Laurelle and Ryan wanted their special day to feel relaxed but really fun!
