Andrea and Sebastian met through mutual friends in Frankfurt, but it wasn’t until four years later that their friendship turned into something more. They’ve shared a life filled with travel, curiosity for new cultures, and professional success—now living together in Zurich after years spent in cities like Dubai and Sydney. Both born and raised in Frankfurt with Croatian roots, they’ve grown together for over a decade, eventually getting engaged on a rooftop in Miami with the city skyline behind them—a surprise Sebastian pulled off during a trip meant to celebrate his own birthday.
Bridal Morning
Andrea’s wedding morning began slowly, surrounded by soft light and quiet excitement. She wore a feather-trimmed white pajama set while getting ready, laying on crisp white sheets with a smile that revealed how ready she was for the day ahead. Her hair was styled in long, sleek waves, parted neatly in the middle—classic, polished, and effortlessly elegant. Large pearl earrings framed her face, and her soft glam makeup by BeautyPrime by Christina brought out her natural features without overpowering her look. “I felt excited and thankful,” Andrea shared, and it showed in every frame.
Her wedding dress from House of St. Patrick was a clean, strapless silhouette with a full skirt and dramatic off-the-shoulder puffed sleeves—a modern nod to the iconic styles of Princess Diana and Jackie Kennedy. She paired it with silver satin heart-toe heels by Mach & Mach, sparkling with crystals, and delicate fine jewelry by MXHM. Her scent for the day was The Muse by Zarko Perfume—a subtle, personal touch to complete a bridal look that was as graceful as it was striking.
Groom's Style
Inspired by Miami Vice with a nod to classic James Bond, Sebastian arrived by helicopter wearing a white Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo jacket, black trousers, and matching shoes from the same label—an effortless mix of elegance and edge. His boutonniere and sharp bow tie completed the look, along with bold black sunglasses and a gold timepiece. He finished his ensemble with accessories by MXHM and Bleu de Chanel, saying he felt “blessed, thankful and loved.”
Ceremony
The ceremony took place under a transparent tent that let the surrounding forest and sky pour in with light. Inside, white chandeliers hung above the aisle, reflecting sunlight over rows of white chairs and a bright white aisle runner. Lush floral pillars of white roses and greenery framed the altar, where two round-backed ivory chairs stood ready for the couple.
Sebastian arrived in style—by a sleek black Mercedes G-Wagon. Guests were already seated when Andrea made her entrance, and the couple met at the altar under the gaze of a retired pastor, who performed both their civil and church ceremony outdoors—something rarely done in Germany. The moment they kissed, a colorful burst of smoke erupted behind them, met with cheers and applause.
Live music from Björn Bergmann and Vocal Invitation filled the air with jazz classics, including selections from My Best Friend’s Wedding, one of the couple’s favorite films. Friends and family looked on with paper parasols in hand, soaking in every part of the heartfelt ceremony. For Andrea and Sebastian, walking down the aisle surrounded by everyone they love was the most emotional and unforgettable moment of the day.
"It was exciting that civil and church wedding were combined."

Private Moment
After the ceremony, Andrea and Sebastian shared a quiet moment away from the crowd, riding through the forested grounds in their Aston Martin. Rain began to fall softly, creating a cinematic atmosphere behind the car windows as they exhaled and leaned into each other.
These intimate scenes, captured with striking sensitivity by Ena Mihoci, felt straight out of a film. “Andrea is a particularly beautiful woman, and I really felt like I was working with professional models, not a real couple,” Ena said. Her eye for elegance and timing turned even the smallest moments—like a glance through the windshield or the groom holding the umbrella—into iconic frames.
"The couple themselves are so connected and confident in their love, so it was easy to photograph them, and so enjoyable to spend the day with them."

Decor & Setting
The reception took place under a custom-built clear-top tent, surrounded by the natural greenery of the venue. Long tables ran through the space, lined with ghost chairs and soft beige linens. The tabletops reflected the colors of the lush floral arrangements—peonies, roses, and lisianthus in shades of lilac, blush, and peach—designed in tall centerpieces and overflowing ground-level runners.
Above the tables, golden tassel chandeliers created movement and added a touch of drama to the tent’s ceiling. Each place setting was finished with a transparent charger, modern black cutlery, and a personalized napkin holding a simple printed menu. On one side of the tent, a clean white display wall invited guests to “Take a Treat,” offering rows of small bottles as wedding favors.

Reception
The reception began with a champagne tower outside, surrounded by lush greenery and floral installations. Andrea and her groom toasted with joy, smiling and sipping from coupe glasses while guests cheered. It set a light and celebratory tone for the evening, with the entire group already fully immersed in the moment.
Inside the glass tent, guests took their seats at tables overflowing with flowers and delicate greenery. Dinner was served while a traditional Croatian folk dance performance honored the groom’s cultural background. Laughter, speeches, and clapping filled the space, and soon the couple stood to cut their sculptural white wedding cake, drawing a crowd around them once again.
As night fell, the couple changed looks — he stepped into a gold jacquard jacket with black lapels, she into a white mini dress with feather trim and glittering heels. The party continued with dancing under a canopy of florals and hanging fringe. Their first dance lit up the tent, followed by DJ beats and a packed dance floor. It was a stylish, high-energy close to a day already full of surprises.
"I loved the overall glamour of the wedding and the combination of elegance with traditional elements related to the bride and groom's background."
