Despite their busy lives with three wonderful kids and the cutest puppy, Katherine and Michael maximize time with each other. Whether cheering on their favorite team at a hockey game or relaxing at their children’s activities, they cherish every moment as a family. When it’s time to unwind, they indulge in good food and great company with their closest friends.
Their proposal took a delightful turn on a cozy Christmas Eve in December 2020. As they were wrapping gifts for their children, Michael unexpectedly surprised Katherine with a heartfelt proposal and marked the new chapter of their enchanting journey together.
Fast forward to January 2022, during a sunny getaway in the Grand Cayman Islands, Michael brings up the idea of getting married in the summer. In February, he “re-proposes,” sealing the deal for a beautiful wedding in the sunny paradise of Los Cabos that is coming June. He picked this location because his sweetheart dreamt of a beach and classy destination wedding.
They chose a well-known luxury resort, Viceroy Los Cabos, as their wedding venue. Drawing inspiration from its unique features, such as the iconic “nest” and wooden pergolas, Katherine and Michael infused their wedding with touches of Mexican tradition and modern flair. Katherine and Michael fell in love with the venue’s clean lines, modern simplicity, and sexy vibe, which provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic celebration.
The lovebirds gathered with their closest ones for a heartwarming rehearsal dinner the evening before the wedding. We always love and support having this pre-wedding event as a relaxed evening in the company of loved ones. It definitely sets the perfect tone for the joyous celebration.
The colorful decorations and flavorful food added excitement and anticipation to the evening’s festivities.
Katherine’s chic and effortless bridal look was perfect for their summer wedding. A Galia Lahav’s dress is a surefire choice for making an impression. With an asymmetrical peplum that gracefully transforms into the top layer of the dress, it adds a beautiful and unique twist.

Two of Katherine’s bridesmaids held a special place in her heart as they were none other than her beloved daughters. Together, they created treasured memories as they helped their mother get ready.
Dressed in a powder pink relaxed suit paired with a crisp white shirt, Michael radiated charm and confidence. Adding a playful touch to his look, he opted for a pair of white sneakers, effortlessly blending comfort with fashion-forward flair.
The handsome groom and his groomsman, Michael and Katherine’s son, prepared for the festivities. Father and son suited up and cheered each other, ensuring everything was set for the special occasion.
Every detail was perfectly in place for the ceremony, with even the sun’s rays casting a beautiful glow on the aisle. The groom and guests excitedly awaited the bride’s arrival.
“We knew the couple wanted a more relaxed and cool vibe to their wedding ceremony, which was held at the beach. We made a wooden walkway in the aisle that blended into the sand with big bursts of florals in bright pink in a wooden arch that enveloped the areas in a very organic that looked messy & chic. To contrast, we used natural woods in the furniture and earth tones in a collection of huge clay pots”, shares their planning team Marianna Idirin.
With excitement building, Katherine walked down the aisle under the loving arm of her father, the groom’s eyes sparkled with admiration They exchanged heartfelt vows. Finally, sealing their promises with a tender first kiss as husband and wife.

The reception design was a visual feast with many elements that kept an eye on the place. Every detail, from the matching materials to the bold floral arrangements, contributed to the overall atmosphere, reciting the theme of the Mexican Coastal Celebration.
The planning team knew that the “nest” would be a big focal point, so we made sure to have a lot of elements there that kept it attractive to the eye.
As the evening celebration commenced with the setting sun, the cheerful newlyweds stepped onto the dance floor for their first dance together. It was a moment of pure magic, where time seemed to stand still, surrounded by the love and support of their dears.
After the newlyweds’ touching first dance, the guests took turns sharing heartfelt speeches. The speeches from the couple’s children were lovely and touching, filled with sincere words that warmed everyone’s hearts. Their innocent expressions of love added an extra special touch to the celebration, creating a moment that will be unforgettable.
The atmosphere of the celebration was relaxed and joyful as guests mingled and danced the night away. Then, it was Katherine’s turn to take the dance floor with her father. Together, they moved gracefully, sharing a special moment of tenderness.
