Ariella and Matthew, a stunning couple from New York, embarked on a magical journey to have their dream destination wedding in Italy. Taking inspiration from the timeless allure of Fellini’s ‘Dolce Vita,’ they imagined a celebration filled with glamour and classic sophistication.

On her magical wedding morning, Ariella enjoyed the picturesque view of Florence from her window with her loved ones. When it came to her bridal style, she aimed for a classy wedding look, choosing a minimalistic and elegant makeup and a wavy hairstyle, making her look truly special. Ariella also wore earrings that her mother had worn at her own wedding in Manhattan over 30 years ago.

Ariella looked absolutely stunning in her Vera Wang dress. The moment she said “yes” to the dress was truly unforgettable: “My mom picked out my Vera Wang wedding dress which was so special. The store was playing a heavy metal mix while we shopped, and when I walked out in the dress, “A Moment Like This” by Kelly Clarkson came on, and my mom, aunt, and I just burst into tears. We knew immediately we’d found the one,” she shares.

Matthew wore a Loro Piana tuxedo paired with Missoni socks and stylish Persol sunglasses – all from renowned Italian designers, to pay homage to their Italian wedding.

The couple’s first look took place against the breathtaking backdrop of Florence, which made this enchanting moment even more touching.

The ceremony was held in the picturesque garden, with flowers adorning the backdrop, although the couple chose to forgo the traditional arch. Ariella and Matthew exchanged vows in front of their loved ones who had gathered in Italy to celebrate their love.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour, where they and their guests were treated to delicious Italian cheeses, snacks and beverages.

The wedding weekend unfolded at the picturesque Villa Corsini in Tuscany. The couple let the venue’s natural elegance speak for itself, avoiding excessive branding or decorations: “We opted to forego flowers in most places and instead chose to line the dining tables and hallways with thousands of candles to let the room and view of the Tuscan hills shine. We chose two long, rectangular tables instead of round tables and felt it really added to the regal look of the gallery. The venue is colorful and beautiful on its own, so we wanted to slightly enhance versus overpower that natural beauty with too much décor. It truly was our vision and dream come to life.”

Matthew and Ariella made their wedding day more special by preparing thoughtful wedding favors for their guests – small bottles of Italian olive oil.
