This was no ordinary wedding. Red velvet drapes and towering elephants set the scene, while a heart-shaped floral arch greeted guests with drama and flair. There was burlesque, fire performers, and the kind of showtime energy that made you stop and watch. Stella and Aristos called it their “Circus of Love” — and it truly was: loud, wild, and unforgettable, in the best way possible.

Location: Limassol, Cyprus
Style: Theatrical, Playful, Eclectic
Setting: Warehouse

Stella and Aristos’ journey together is one of those timeless love stories. The couple first met when they were just five years old in school. Life took them on separate journeys—he moved to Switzerland, she settled in London—but Cyprus brought them back together. They reunited in 2019 during a Christmas visit home, and something clicked. Six months later, Stella followed her heart to Switzerland. Two years after that, Aristos proposed during a huge birthday party with over 300 guests. It was loud, joyful, and totally them.

When it came to planning their wedding, they wanted something that felt like them—untraditional, full of character, and open to possibility. The Warehouse in Limassol had just the right energy. With its raw charm and sea views, it gave them the perfect blank canvas to bring their vision to life.

Before the Show, a Sacred Pause

Before the seaside celebration, Stella and Aristos had a traditional Orthodox ceremony. It was calm, meaningful, and family-filled. The bride wore an elegant ivory halter-neck gown. Her bouquet was a soft, round cluster of white hydrangeas tied with delicate ivory ribbons. Pure and minimal, it suited the serene atmosphere of the church and the timeless lines of her dress.

The church glowed softly as the rituals took shape—the crowning, the walk around the altar, the quiet presence of something greater than the moment.

Louis Gabriel captured it all without interrupting the atmosphere. His photos told the story through emotion and movement—their hands linked under the priest’s robe, Stella’s expression in the soft candlelight. There was a weight to those images, but also warmth. He didn’t just shoot what happened—he caught how it felt.

Getting Ready

The energy in the morning was real and unfiltered. At the place where Aristos got ready, the guys turned tradition into a party—joking, clapping, and covering his head in shaving cream with a mix of humor and care. His mother held the tray with his suit, and friends helped him dress, stopping to dance and cheer him on.

Over at Stella’s, it was music, color, and constant movement. Traditional musicians played live, everyone danced in a circle. One moment flowed into the next—rituals, hugs, blessings—and even Hulk, their dog, got swept up in the joy. It was festive, emotional, and exactly the right kind of chaos before a big day.

Fashion

Stella’s three bridal looks reflected the mood of the day. She started in a flowing Berta gown with pleats, sparkle, and a sculpted corset—dreamy and light. Later, she slipped into two custom Mitsu Mitsu dresses, each bringing new energy. Her half-up waves were styled by the team at Artnstyle by Joseph, and her makeup by Makeup by Tatia Aso gave her a glowing, modern finish.

Her bouquet by Details Made With Love was a bold, textural mix of deep red roses and wild greenery tied with Swarovski crystals and zircon details. It felt dramatic and rich, perfectly echoing the heart of the celebration.

Aristos kept it classic with a twist. His black suit had a long, dramatic tail, and his deep red bow tie pulled the look together. “He felt every bit the prince charming, confident and ready to marry his soulmate,” shared the photographer.

Ceremony

The seaside ceremony was nothing short of a showstopper. Guests were welcomed into a world of spectacle—performers in corsets, feathers, and flower crowns brought the “Circus of Love” theme to life. A red carpet swept through a dramatic entrance framed by playful elephant statues and glowing marquee lights, setting the tone for what felt like an actual show.

Rows of chairs lined a mirrored aisle, which reflected the sea and sky as Stella walked toward Aristos, bathed in the golden light of sunset. A heart-shaped floral arch framed their vows, filled with red roses, dahlias, hydrangeas, and soft greenery. The timing was cinematic—by the time they exchanged their kiss, the sun had dipped just below the horizon, casting dusky light across the ceremony.

Hulk, their dog, made another appearance, proudly padding down the aisle as ring bearer. Fireworks by Pyrgos lit up the sky, while red smoke swirled and guests danced and cheered around them. It was theatrical, emotional, and unforgettable.

Cocktail Hour With Firelight

After the ceremony, the energy shifted—but stayed high. Guests sipped cocktails while fire performers lit up the dusk. Roving acts and acrobatic dancers kept the spirit of the show alive, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration. Laughter echoed over the music, and the night began to unfold in layers of surprise and delight.

Private Moment

Before diving into the party, Stella and Aristos stepped away for a few quiet minutes under the stars. No stage, no lights—just the two of them and the sound of waves in the background. Louis Gabriel captured it all with quiet focus, giving them photographs that feel like memories.

Decor & Setting

From start to finish, the visual storytelling was on point: the red velvet entrance with elephants, the heart arch overflowing with florals, and the mirrored aisle. Inside, the setting took on a sultrier mood. Long banquet tables were dressed in deep red linens, with sleek black and gold-edged plates, crystal-cut glassware, and a single red rose set on each napkin. Hundreds of candles glowed between arrangements of hydrangeas, dahlias, and greenery.

The uplighting painted the warehouse walls in deep shades of crimson, while oversized crystal chandeliers added a touch of old-world glamour. Every corner felt curated, romantic, and just a little theatrical—perfectly in step with the theme. Behind it all was the steady hand of day-of coordinator Georgia Kyriacou, whose attention to detail helped bring this vision to life with seamless precision.

Dinner, Dance, and Pure Euphoria

The reception began with a sense of anticipation. Guests, dressed to impress and perfectly in tune with the evening’s glamorous aesthetic, took their seats at glowing candlelit tables. Stella had changed into her second dress—a sculptural white bustier top paired with a voluminous tulle skirt. The look was sleek, modern, and full of movement.

Food Etc presented a menu that perfectly matched the elevated atmosphere. Then came the cake by Eleana—an enormous heart-shaped confection topped with fresh strawberries, carried in with flair by the entire catering crew.

After the cake, the newlyweds shared their first dance as husband and wife—an emotional moment that drew cheers and happy tears. The mood soared as Antonis Dominos took the mic for a live set, and dancers from Defingou Events stunned the room in sequins and feathers.

DJs Piss Junior and his team brought the heat, backed by disco ball-headed dancers and roving performers in full mirrored costumes. Stella switched into her final look—a sparkling mini dress with boots and a feathered headpiece that read “Bride”. Red flares lit the room, and guests danced deep into the night in a whirlwind of music, laughter, and pure joy.

Advice from the couple:

Don’t settle for a traditional wedding unless it reflects who you are as a couple.
