Amanda and Rudy’s story began in 2015 at a nightclub in New York City, where a shared love of music and dancing sparked an instant connection. “We ended up dancing the night away,” they recall, and soon after, went on their first date for a glass of wine that turned into seven unforgettable hours wandering through the West Village. Although Amanda wasn’t ready for anything serious at the time, Rudy respected her space, and they stayed in touch. A few months later, fate intervened once more: both had trips to Miami planned for the same weekend, to the same hotel and even the same nightclub. They met again, this time surrounded by friends, and knew it was meant to be.
Location: Antibes, France
Style: Chic, French, Euro Coastal
Time of planning: About 1,5 years
Number of guests: 90
Setting: Historic estate
Season: Summer
Their engagement took place in April 2024 during a trip to Marrakech and Paris, two cities close to their hearts. Paris held special meaning — it was the first city they had ever traveled to together back in 2018.
“On our second day in Paris, we went to LouLou for lunch and then planned to stroll through the Jardin des Tuileries before a museum visit — a perfect Parisian day,” Amanda shares. In a quiet corner of the gardens, Rudy got down on one knee and proposed, while a photographer hidden behind a bush captured every moment. The surprise and joy were overwhelming, and the couple spent the next five days celebrating in the city of love, “and just knew we were meant to get married in France.”
Inspiration & The Movie
“Our inspiration really came from the location itself,” shares the couple. “We wanted to capture both the coastal European summer vibe you feel at the beach clubs in Antibes and the charm of the French countryside garden aesthetic.” The two styles came together beautifully through a thoughtful mix of color, pattern, and texture, creating an atmosphere that felt effortless yet refined.
The entire celebration was brought to life through film by Renaud Conti, whose cinematic storytelling gave the day a timeless, emotional quality. Filmed like an intimate movie, the video blended candid moments, heartfelt interviews, and sweeping landscape shots, perfectly capturing the vibrant emotions and natural elegance of the day.
Bride's Morning & Fashion
The bride looked elegant in a French lace corseted fit-and-flare gown by Galia Lahav, a design that perfectly balanced timeless romance with modern allure. She wore it with classic Manolo Blahnik heels and delicate Aurate teardrop diamond earrings, adding a touch of sparkle alongside her grandmother’s vintage rings, which carried sentimental meaning.
Her beauty channeled Old Hollywood glamour, with soft, sculpted waves and bronzed, sun-kissed makeup accented by a subtle nod to ’90s glam. To complete the look, she carried a bouquet in soft, romantic tones, a reflection of her effortlessly sophisticated style and the dreamy French atmosphere of the day.
One of the most special moments of the day was Amanda’s first look with her dad. As the youngest in the family, she watched as he opened the door and saw her in her wedding dress for the first time — “we both teared up, happy tears, but also bittersweet knowing that I am all grown up.” For her, her dad has always been “the greatest father I could ever ask for” and embodies the qualities she sought when meeting her husband.
Groom's Fashion
The groom’s look was classic and effortlessly chic, with a tailored suit by Enzo Customs in luxurious Loro Piana fabric. He wore it with Christian Louboutin shoes and added a personal touch by subtly embroidering the wedding date on his dress shirt. Every detail was carefully chosen to reflect his refined style and the significance of the day.
Ceremony
The Ceremony Garden at Bastide du Roy was everything the couple had imagined: an intimate setting with their closest family and friends, perfectly captured by photographer Louise Golding and thoughtfully designed by Missy Ruiz Events. They wanted the ceremony to feel like a stroll through a lavender field, so only purple flowers lined the aisle, creating an airy, romantic atmosphere.
Another unforgettable moment was when Amanda walked down the aisle and saw Rudy for the first time that day. Even with all their guests around, it felt as if it was just the two of them — “it felt like it was just him and I and time stopped.”
Adding to the personal touch, their best friend, Olivia, officiated the ceremony, making the moment even more meaningful and heartfelt. The combination of thoughtful design, photography, and a close-knit circle of loved ones made the ceremony truly unforgettable.
"It was such a special feeling to know that we just shared this moment with each other and our closest loved ones. After the ceremony, we were able to just be with each other alone for a few moments and take it all in. Those are the moments we will never forget.”

Reception
The entire wedding and reception were beautifully planned by Anais Carlino Weddings, who brought the couple’s vision to life with a combination of elegance and personality. The reception took place outdoors, beneath the enchanting façade of the venue, surrounded by the soft glow of string lights and the charm of the French Riviera evening.
The florals were whimsical and unstructured, reflecting an elevated coastal garden vibe that perfectly matched the French Riviera. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails like the Sonny Spritz and Bleeckertini, while DJ Adam kept the energy flowing from timeless dinner tunes to late-night beats. The couple’s first dance to “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. led into a festive ending with a champagne tower in place of a traditional cake.
Into The Night
The reception was full of special moments. “One special touch I really loved was having my parents recreate their first dance after Rudy and I did ours,” Amanda shares. “The month of our wedding also happened to be my parents’ fortieth wedding anniversary. I surprised them by having the DJ play their first dance song from their wedding forty years ago.” They were overjoyed, and it became a moment the whole family will treasure.
“The most memorable moment of the wedding day, besides what I said above, was dancing all night with everyone,” Amanda adds. “We love to party and enjoy life to its fullest, and the energy in the room was nonstop.”
"Leading up to our wedding, I kept saying that one of my only wishes was that everyone would have as much fun as possible. To say the least, that wish was accomplished. No one wanted the party to ever end!”

Advice from the couple:
• Our advice would be to stay present throughout the day and cherish every moment. The day goes by fast, and if you don’t slow down and take it all in, you may miss so many moments.
• Also, don’t sweat the small stuff! Little things will always end up not going exactly as planned, but you only get to do this day once, so make it count!
