Puglia, Italy: Lena Headey and Marc Menchaca

One photo shared by a guest an attendee shows Headey wearing a simple, white silk gown with spaghetti straps, a plunging V-neckline, and a low back. She accessorized her bridal look with an elbow-length veil and a pink and a white rose tucked into her dark brown hair. The actor’s floral hairpiece also matched the large, sculptural floral display at the altar. Menchaca wore a blue three-piece suit for the occasion which he paired with a wide-brimmed hat.
The celebration also offered the opportunity for a number of Headey’s Game of Thrones co-stars to enjoy a mini-reunion. Peter Dinklage was photographed kissing another wedding guest on the cheek, while Sophie Turner and her husband Joe Jonas posed for photos with some of the other attendees. Scinua, a local restaurant nearby, also captured this meet-up between the show’s stars, posting a photo of Dinkage dining there alongside Michelle Fairley who played Catelyn Stark on the program, and Conleth Hill, who starred as Varys. And pop star Rick Astley also made an unexpected appearance, posing for selfies with guests at the ceremony.
Trancoso, Brazil: Lais Ribeiro and Joakim Noah
In early January, former NBA star Joakim Noah announced that his wedding ceremony with Brazilian model Lais Ribeiro would be in Brazil. But if you automatically thought Rio de Janeiro, you are wrong. The couple chose for Trancoso, a small coastal town mixing of traditional with luxury and located in the state of Bahia.
The duo swapped vows at a romantic wedding on the beach. The model sported a Galia Lahav gown with a floral embroidered corset top and sheer detailing for the occasion. The groom’s all-white suit coordinated perfectly with his bride’s ensemble.
Noah’s choice confirms the idea that Trancoso has solidified itself as one of the most attractive cities for international celebrities. Before Noah, other celebrities like as Beyoncé, Will Smith, Naomi Campbell, Leonardo di Caprio, JK Rowling among others spent vacations in Trancoso— and it is considered the most luxurious destination in Brazil. Adrian Grenier and Jordan Roemmele tied the knot in the Atlas Mountains. The actor was enjoying a holiday in Morocco with his beau and their friends when they unexpectedly decided to tie the knot. They embraced the serendipity of the moment.
For their last-minute ceremony on 18 June 2022, Adrian and Jordan looked gorgeous in matching white outfits, with the bride opting for a flowing gown with a low V-neck, spaghetti straps, a fitted waist and a layered skirt. She wore her hair in loose waves that fell past her shoulders and finished off her boho outfit with splashes of red, with bright nail varnish that matched her bouquet of red roses.

Tuscany, Italy: Jay Ellis and Nina Senicar

The duo both donned custom Dolce and Gabbana looks: Jay in a maroon double-breasted tuxedo and Nina in a strapless ball gown with a thigh-high slit and corset top. From the start, the model had an idea about the kind of dress she hoped to wear. She wanted a simple off-white silk material without lace and sparkles, but at the same time something classic, timeless, and elegant. The actor said he ‘always knew I wanted to wear something in the bordeaux family.’ Adding to the ensemble he wore a bowtie and textured burgundy loafers that matched his designer threads perfectly.
Speaking to Vogue, the beauty said, ‘The location was never in question. We always knew we wanted to get married in Italy because going there was the first trip we ever took together.’ To that end, the two went to Italy to look for a wedding location in June of 2019, road-tripping for a week from Rome to Tuscany to Puglia and looking at about 15 venues and villas along the way. They eventually settled on Villa Mangiacane, a property surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in a small town called San Casciano in Tuscany. The couple brought over 190 people together for three days in Tuscany to celebrate their ocassion that was postponed twice. The couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Nora Grace, was the flower girl.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica: Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons
After six years together, Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons have finally tied the knot! The Bring It On actress and Friday Night Lights star said “I do” over the weekend of July 2, 2022 at the luxury GoldenEye resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The resort boasts an array of ‘collection of private villas, cottages and beach huts,’ according to its website.
Kirsten and Jesse started dating back in 2016 after meeting on the set of Fargo, and they became engaged the following year. The pair shares two children together: Ennis, whom they welcomed in spring 2018, and James Robert, who was born in 2021. We’re so excited for them!

The fitness trainer Jillian Michaels said “I do” to DeShanna Marie Minuto during an intimate ceremony in Namibia, Africa, People confirms. The fitness trainer and her now-wife kicked off the wedding festivities with a courthouse ceremony on July 11, 2022, in Miami, Florida, then headed to the southern African country for a private ceremony and honeymoon. Now, they plan on hosting their official wedding celebration on June 23, 2023 in Venice, Italy.
The Fitness App by Jillian Michaels creator has been dating Minuto since 2018. Three years after they first became linked, Michaels popped the question with a seven-carat emerald-cut diamond, which was framed with two trapezoid diamonds, each at one carat.

The American Horror Story star and the daughter of Carrie Fisher Billie Lourd made her relationship official with Austen Rydell on March 12 during an intimate sunset beach wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, according to Vogue. Billie’s father, talent agent Bryan Lourd, purchased a block of rooms at the hotel venue for wedding guests and they enjoyed a private pool party at the hotel the day before the wedding on Friday afternoon.
For the ceremony on Saturday, the bride wore a custom off-the-shoulder Rodarte dress. “I discovered Kate and Laura [Mulleavy, Rodarte’s designers] after they interviewed my mom for an article in 2014 and immediately fell in love,” Billie says to Vogue. “We got married on the beach at sunset, so I really wanted something that reflected the vibe of the ocean-y setting,” she says. “We decided to make the under-layer of the dress out of sequins. The under-layer of my personality is also made of sequins, so it just felt right,” she jokes. “The dress came out even better than I could’ve ever imagined, and I feel so beyond grateful to Laura and Kate for making it all happen.”
Rydell and Lourd got engaged in June 2020, and they welcomed their first baby together, son Kingston Fisher, later that year in September.
Portofino, Italy: Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker tied the knot for the third time. The reality star and Blink-182 drummer had a lavish outdoor wedding held at L’Olivetta, a villa owned by Dolce & Gabbana, in Portofino, Italy on May 22. All of their closet friends and family members watched as the couple swapped vows on a red-carpeted altar surrounded by red roses and white votive candles.
Kourtney Kardashian wore a one-of-a-kind Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda lace and satin corset mini dress inspired by 1960s Italian lingerie, all accompanied by a sweeping veil. Meanwhile, her rocker husband sported a black double-breasted suit designed by Dolce & Gabanna.
The celebration reportedly kicked off with a dinner party at Ristorante Puny on Friday night. The next day, guests visited the Abbey of San Fruttuoso for a special lunch and later that evening, went to Villa San Bartolomeo, where they had dinner and danced.
Sunday, the day of the couple’s ceremony, included a relaxing day for Kardashian and her whole family before she exchanged vows with Barker at the villa. After the nuptials, the reception was held at Castello Brown, a historic house museum, which featured live music performances and food stations of pasta and cannolis. The venue located above the Portofino harbor overlooking the ocean.
Maui, Hawaii, USA: Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews
The NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes and his high school sweetheart Brittany Matthews tied the knot on March 12 in Maui, Hawaii during a seaside ceremony at Olowalu Plantation House, with friends and family. The couple’s daughter Sterling, one, acted as a flower girl for the highly-anticipated wedding.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback sported a gray suit with sparkly black shoes, while his bride donned a custom Versace gown with striking cutouts, sparkly embellishments, and a billowing train.

Provence, France: Simon Porte Jacquemus and Marco Maestri
On August 27, Simon Porte Jacquemus and Marco Maestri said “I do” in Charleval, a charming village in the South of France.
The sweethearts joined the impressive list of famous faces who’ve flown to Provence to make their love official, including British actress Kiera Knightley and James Righton and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. But this case is spesial because Charleval is the village of Simon’s childhood. He comes from the heart of Provence.
Simon wanted “an energy of love” for his Provencal union, which took place on a sunny afternoon in the town hall square with guests attending from around the world. It was the village celebration aspect with a Pagnol-style countryside procession. He was touched by the most was seeing all of the village’s locals in the streets. There were many familiar faces from his childhood and some had binoculars, and they called his name as we passed by and clapped from the windows.
The festivities continued at the Château de Bonneval.
Aspen, Colorado, USA: James Gunn and Jennifer Holland
James Gunn, director of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and DC’s The Suicide Squad, and Jennifer Holland, the “Peacemaker” star, Wed in Colorado, Aspen at Dunbar Ranch.
“After over 7 years together, I finally married the love of my life, @jenniferlholland,” Gunn wrote on Instagram. “What an incredible, beautiful, stunning day surrounded by the most wonderful family and friends in the world.”
Jennifer Holland commented, “I love you @jamesgunn !” “My gratitude is bursting at the seams. Thank you to every single staff member who worked so hard to make this event special for us and for our guests. It was so seamless and stunningly beautiful, I felt like I was in a movie,” she continued in a post of her own.
Their wedding came complete with a moose walking across their venue and a Marvel vs. DC softball game.
