Carolina, a medical student at the time, and Martin, a financial specialist in the energy transition sector who had just returned from working in Colombia, were introduced through a mutual friend in the bustling heart of New York City. Their relationship deepened with fine time together and cultural affinities, but the arrival of COVID-19 unexpectedly turned their journey. Instead of dampening their spirits, this challenge accelerated their romance. They knew they were destined to spend their lives together in just three months of quarantine.

Carolina and Martin’s wedding wish was for an elegant and timeless celebration surrounded by their friends and family admist the lavender fields. On the picturesque day of September, marking the transition from summer to fall, they began their journey at an estate in Châtournard, a region in the heart of Provence in the south of France.

Le Mas Tulum, a charming venue part of the Domaines Collection, offered a stunning backdrop for Carolina and Martin’s wedding celebrations. Surrounded by cultural gardens blending Mexican and Japanese influences, the couple’s special day and preceding events unfolded beautifully outdoors. They started the festivities with a cozy rehearsal dinner under the open sky.

The guests enjoyed an excellent opportunity to connect and converse before the big day. They were treated to delicious appetizers and cocktails, setting the stage for a beautiful celebration.

The wedding day began with Carolina’s preparations, drawing inspiration from Grace Kelly’s iconic bridal look. The beauty team meticulously created the perfect reflection of the bride’s vision. Her makeup was soft glam, accentuating natural facial features. Vintage Hollywood waves perfectly complemented Carolina’s elegant ensemble and showcased her beautiful jewelry, adding an extra touch of sparkle.

Between preparations, the bride and her bridesmaids opened champagne to celebrate the start of the cherished day.

Designer Maite Bailleul crafted a stunning strapless corset gown for Carolina. It was adorned with intricate embellishments and paired with a sensational bolero and veil. The dress, a masterpiece of French savoir-faire and precision craftsmanship, showcased the atelier’s talent for exquisite design. It featured a skirt overflowing with layers of delicate tulle and a magnificent train, creating a mesmerizing silhouette. The bustier, adorned with dozens of hand-sewn Calais lace appliqués, highlighted the meticulous attention to detail in every stitch.

The groom and his groomsmen had a blast getting ready in their stylish suits. They shared jokes and stories, creating unforgettable memories before the ceremony.

Martin chose a sleek black suit that exuded timeless elegance. With its tailored fit and impeccable style, his ensemble was reminiscent of the iconic Agent 007, adding a touch of intrigue and charm to his wedding day look.

The ceremony unfolded in a cozy church nestled in the heart of Provence. Amidst the quaint charm of the countryside, Carolina and Martin exchanged their vows, enveloped by their beloveds’ warmth and love. The intimate setting embraced everyone, creating a truly unforgettable moments.

A soulful violinist played romantic melodies for guests in the enchanting embrace of a lavender garden during the cocktail hour.

After the ceremony, the couple had some alone time and chose to wander the venue’s magnificent gardens.

Talented wedding photographer Marion Cougoureux of Marion Co captured incredible shots of Carolina and Martin amidst the gardens’ immaculate hedges and sculpted bushes. The photographs turned out stunning, perfectly encapsulating the elegance Carolina and Martin envisioned for their special day.

The wedding unfolded against a backdrop of white and green hues in the timeless elegance of a neutral color palette. Bridesmaids adorned in champagne-colored dresses and groomsmen in classic black tuxedos set the tone for the refined black-tie affair.

The reception was held around the pool, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere against shimmering water and twinkling lights. Delicate baby’s breath flowers and white minimalist candles adorned the space, casting a soft glow over the surroundings.

During wedding speeches, Carolina and Martin’s words shone brightly, touching the hearts of everyone present. They were filled with love and gratitude for everyone and expressed their deepest emotions. As a special surprise, Martin serenaded his beloved wife with a song accompanied by his guitar, adding an extra layer of romance.

Following tradition, Carolina and Martin joyfully cut the cake together. Among the many beautiful and memorable elements of the wedding, we have to mention the sweet table that was adorned with an array of delectable desserts, sweet canapés, and a towering display of profiteroles.

With seamless transition, the celebration continued as guests moved on to the lively party. To add an extra element of fun, masks and party hats were thoughtfully prepared for everyone, inviting guests to immerse themselves fully in the festivities.

Advice from the couple:

• We recommend sweetheart tables because they allow the newlyweds to have a more intimate setting where they can enjoy each other’s company without being surrounded by the entire wedding party. The table is positioned so the newlyweds have a clear view of the whole reception, allowing them to see and interact with all their guests during the celebration.

Consider allocating resources to a photographer and videographer. They play a crucial role in immortalizing your finest moments and preserving them as everlasting memories.
