The story of “L’amour de ma vie” was imagined as soft yet powerful, refined yet deeply emotional. From the very beginning, the vision centered on creating a moment that felt suspended in time — an intimate dinner framed by the aged beauty of historic architecture. This delicate tension between structure and fluidity guided every creative decision, while the floral design by Mary and Blooms added movement, texture, and an organic softness that brought the entire atmosphere to life.
Planned and designed by Zeiry By Design and captured by Mitt Photography, the inspiration for this shoot came from classic French romance and the quiet grandeur of old European estates. The draped fabric installation was conceived as a modern reinterpretation of Renaissance tapestries, soft, fluid, and expressive, set against the softly weathered stone columns and historic balconies.
Venue & Style
The venue Camélia Gardens played an essential role in shaping the story. This historic estate, with its pale yellow façade, ornate balconies, and classical arched windows, carries a timeless charm that feels both grand and intimate. Choosing this venue was a deliberate decision: its elegance elevated the visual direction, while its subtle imperfections brought depth and character.
The design evolved in dialogue with the architecture, inspiring layered draping, tactile textures, and floral structures that felt harmonious. Thoughtfully crafted stationery by Velvet Raptor complemented this atmosphere, adding refined details that echoed the estate’s historic elegance.
The bridal look was designed to embody effortless elegance. The gown by Pronovias featured clean lines and a minimal, sculptural silhouette that complemented the architectural setting without overpowering it. The vision was for the bride to feel ethereal yet grounded, moving through the space with quiet presence. Makeup by Kantovick was kept soft and luminous, focusing on radiant skin and subtle definition, while the sleek, slightly undone hair added a sense of natural movement and emotion.
Inspiration & Reception Decor
The design revolved around draping, with layers of soft ivory and deep green fabric introducing movement, depth, and a tactile richness to the setting. The tablecloth was intentionally knotted and gathered into sculptural folds, creating a natural visual rhythm alongside the cascading florals at its base. Vintage glassware, ceramic plates, and tall burgundy candles completed the tablescape, shaping an atmosphere that felt intimate, refined, and quietly luxurious, as though the scene had effortlessly come to life beside a historic European villa.
For the floral design, Mary and Blooms created a palette inspired by faded gardens and natural softness, bringing together voluminous hydrangeas, airy smoke bush, sculptural anthuriums, and deep burgundy accents. The blend of creamy whites, muted greens, and rich maroons echoed the gentle draping of the table linens as well as the earthy tones of the stone architecture. Hydrangeas added a sense of romantic fullness, while anthuriums introduced a modern, sculptural contrast that stood out against the flowing fabrics. Together, the arrangement felt organic and refined, allowing the table to appear almost as if it had grown naturally within its surroundings.
"This shoot reflects our belief in storytelling through texture, architecture, and emotion. It was not just about creating a visually beautiful setting but about crafting a moment where romance and artistry meet.”
