The brief was simple: forget tradition and build something genuinely new. Something innovative, daring, both timeless and avant-garde, elegance seen through a distinctly modern artistic lens.

The setting made that possible from the start. Château de Nainville-les-Roches is an elegant estate with timeless charm, nestled within a vast tree-lined park in the French countryside. Blending classical architecture, refined interiors, and majestic gardens, the château offered a romantic, exclusive backdrop for a celebration built to feel both elegant and immersive. Manda Razaf captured the entire day on both film and digital, with drapery reinterpreted through delicate lace and soft feather accents that added depth and movement throughout the scenography.

Fashion

The model wore two wedding gowns by Liretta and an evening dress by Jean Daniel Brami. From the beginning, the wardrobe selection was guided by texture, movement, and volume, each silhouette chosen to complement the editorial’s refined, artistic aesthetic, blending softness with dramatic elegance. Hair and makeup, by La Beauté Singulière, carried that same balance through, polished but never overdone.

The groom’s look came from Faubourg Saint Sulpice, a tailored suit that struck exactly the timeless, sophisticated tone the rest of the editorial was chasing.

When the Château Learned to Dream

From the beginning, MC2 Mon Amour’s creative direction focused on subtle plays on texture and materiality, every detail designed to interact with light, volume, and fabric in a refined, understated way. That same attention to texture carried through into the stationery design as well.

The editorial was built around three main scenographic moments. The first was the dinner setting: a timeless long table featuring a custom-made tablecloth, delicate meringue swans, and floral arrangements composed of fleur-de-lis and dramatic hanging amaranthus. Romantic and sculptural at once.

Swan Reverie

The second scenographic moment centered on the dessert presentation, anchored by a wedding cake standing over two meters tall, adorned with lace-inspired details that echoed the textures running through the whole editorial. Drapery has become a defining visual element in contemporary design, but here it was reinterpreted through a mix of delicate lace and soft feather accents, adding depth and movement throughout the scenography.

What made this day truly unique was watching so many talented creatives bring their own vision to life, together. Every professional working their magic side by side, contributing their own expertise, created an inspiring, deeply collaborative atmosphere that ran through the entire shoot.

When Dessert Became the Scenography

The dessert buffet closed out the third scenographic moment, imagined as a rich, immersive composition. An assortment of pastries played with layers, textures, heights, and volumes, creating something decadent and sophisticated at once, editorial and inviting in equal measure.

The most memorable part of the day was watching the whole project slowly come to life. After hours of planning, designing, and refining every detail, seeing it all finally come together was incredibly emotional and rewarding.

As for advice, the team’s takeaway is simple: choose vendors who genuinely reflect your personality and match your energy. Surround yourself with the right creative team, and together, you can build something meaningful, the kind of day that ends up being the most beautiful of your life.
