Baja Luna, one of Los Cabos’ most iconic wedding venues, became the stage for this Pride Month editorial by Del Cabo Weddings. Known for its tropical gardens and mountain views, the venue’s natural light and modern architecture perfectly framed the bold design. Cobalt blue, vibrant yellow, and the couple’s authentic energy turned the day into a vivid celebration of individuality – beginning with a playful poolside gathering and transitioning into a sculptural ceremony before ending with an intimate reception under its arches.
Poolside Welcome Party
The first day started by the venue’s pool, where the setup looked like a modern summer lounge designed for long, sunlit hours. Bright yellow cushions and deep blue chairs from Yaya Rentals stood out against the venue’s tropical greenery, while vibrant bougainvillea added natural pops of pink around the deck. The pool itself became part of the design – dotted with oversized inflatables in playful shapes, their colors echoing the bold palette of the shoot. Wooden side tables held trays of fruit, citrus bowls, and sparkling drinks, giving the area a relaxed but curated look.
“Our goal was to create a wedding shoot that celebrated Pride Month, one that specifically highlighted the love between two men when it is expressed openly, confidently, and joyfully.”

The couple mingled with guests, drinks in hand, moving between the lounge areas and shaded umbrellas. The garden’s palms and mango trees framed the pool, creating a mix of tropical softness and strong architectural lines. Despite being styled, the mood felt effortless – laughter, sunlight reflecting off the water, and the couple leaning fully into the fun made this welcome party feel like the most natural way to begin the celebration.
Grooms’ Looks
The couple’s first look took place inside a photo booth by Opto Booth, a playful choice that added spontaneity to the day. It was here, framed by strips of instant photos, that they saw each other for the first time. Their reactions were unposed and emotional, laughter mixing with quiet excitement as the booth captured every glance and smile.
Their coordinated looks by Elié Rodríguez carried the same mix of refinement and individuality. Both wore tailored white suits by Mexican designer David Silva, a fresh and modern choice for the garden setting. One groom opted for a structured shirt with clean lines, while the other chose a sheer lace design, giving a subtle contrast to their styles.
Bright yellow ties and bow ties, crafted entirely from fresh flowers, added an unexpected and artistic touch. Their rings, designed by TTEN and inspired by Venus, the goddess of love, featured a single pearl. Los Cabos Makeup came through with a look that was natural and simple, and allowed the grooms to feel fully themselves, in love.
Ceremony in Blue and Yellow
The ceremony unfolded on Baja Luna’s expansive lawn, where Del Cabo Weddings created a striking visual statement. A sculptural altar in fluid cobalt blue stood against the mountain backdrop, its curved form catching the sunlight and echoing the movement of water. At its base, yellow gerberas and calla lilies by Aria Vera Floral were “planted” directly into the grass, giving the impression that they had grown naturally from the garden. The combination of strong color blocks and organic textures instantly transformed the open space into a modern, almost artistic setting.
"The core inspiration was the idea that love is most powerful when it is broadcast in full color.”

Guests sat on rows of blue velvet chairs and low ottomans, arranged in a curved layout that drew all attention toward the altar. The bold cobalt seating contrasted beautifully with the venue’s lush greenery, making the ceremony feel visually powerful. Every angle revealed a different balance of structure and nature, with the mountains serving as a dramatic natural frame.
The overall mood remained joyful and warm despite the strong design elements. The sunlight filtered through the palms, touching the yellow petals and making them glow, while the soft breeze gave movement to the altar fabric. The space felt alive, perfectly matching the intention of a celebration centered on openness, love, and individuality.
Design & Dinner Setting
The reception carried the same bold palette into Baja Luna’s open-air pavilion, where the planner blended modern lines with warm, organic textures. Long blue tables stood out against the venue’s neutral-toned architecture, while terracotta plates, wooden candleholders, and clear glassware added a grounded, welcoming feel. As daylight faded, candlelight reflected off the deep blue surfaces, softening the strong contrasts and giving the space a warm evening glow.

Aria Vera Floral styled minimalist yellow arrangements along the tables, letting color speak through simple shapes. Above the sweetheart table, clusters of suspended gerberas added lightness and movement. Every element, from the bold table color to the natural textures, created a reception space that was modern, joyful, and perfectly aligned with the modern Pride-inspired story.
"We embraced primary colors, particularly bold blues and vibrant yellows to generate striking contrasts and dynamic energy, with yellow representing optimism and warmth and blue bringing in balance, calm, and depth."

Reception
The reception unfolded warmly as the sun softened over the open-air pavilion. Guests raised glasses, leaning into easy conversations, while the couple shared quiet, playful moments between toasts. MC Weddings captured it all with a precise eye for color and emotion, framing every laugh, every glance, and the way candlelight flickered across the bold blue surfaces.

"The energy on set was remarkable. The connection between the grooms brought life to every frame, while the creative synergy across teams made the process truly inspiring."

The shoot ended just after the sun dipped below the horizon, leaving the venue in a soft evening glow. The couple laughed, holding hands as the team gathered around, clapping and cheering for what felt like more than just a styled shoot. It was a bright, vibrant celebration that mirrored the boldness of its design – unique, joyful, and impossible to witness without smiling.
"It was a powerful reminder that love, when celebrated with intention, always speaks loudest."
