Framed by the storied architecture of the Augustine Luxury Hotel in the heart of Prague, a former monastery transformed into a luxury destination, this editorial is a modern-day celebration of contrast and creativity. Brought to life by planner and designer Kristýna Kleslová of Sweet Chic Weddings, the vision fuses the venue’s historical elegance with fresh, fashion-forward details. Vibrant florals, sleek silhouettes, and unexpected pops of color come together in a design that feels stylish, sophisticated, and entirely of the moment.
Fashion
The custom dress by Czech designer Lay Sedláková combines classic craftsmanship with a fresh, contemporary vibe, using luxe materials that elevate every detail. The stationery, crafted in bold orange and yellow hues by Teja Studio, perfectly echoed the vibrant color palette of the entire editorial.
Makeup artist Pavel Kortan embraces a signature approach, believing that “a natural look is what truly boosts a bride’s confidence.” His goal is always to make sure the bride feels both self-assured and authentic. For this shoot, he made soft, natural makeup with relaxed yet polished hair, perfectly reflecting the bride’s personality and the laid-back, elegant vibe of the editorial.
Complementing the look, the groom wore a perfectly tailored suit made from premium Italian silk by Cleofe Finati, adding a fashion-forward touch to the overall aesthetic.
To complete the style story, the bride wore a standout engagement ring designed exclusively for this shoot by Rubringer. The 14-karat yellow gold setting holds a 3-carat citrine center stone, framed by 20 delicate diamonds – a statement piece that feels unique, fashion-forward, and full of personality.
A Perfect Contrast
The planners chose the Augustine Luxury Hotel not only because they regularly organize amazing weddings there and love working with its inspiring environment, but also because its architecture and history provide a striking contrast to the contemporary details incorporated.
The ceremony space was vibrant and richly decorated with a mix of flowers arranged by Kvetiny do Puntíku and fresh fruits. Featuring flowers such as Gloriosa, Eremurus, Calla, and Anthurium, alongside citrus fruits like grapefruits, mandarins, and oranges, the design played with a variety of textures and shapes to create a dynamic and layered composition.
Fruit, Florals, and Forever
The planners at Sweet Chic Weddings share: “I always try to incorporate unique glassware, textured fabrics, and beautiful flatware into the decor.” For this editorial, the design emphasized line flow, rhythm, and proportion, intentionally playing with contrasting colors and shapes to create visual energy, balance, and a refined, cohesive aesthetic.

The ceremony space seamlessly transformed into a vibrant reception, with a show-stopping cake by Cupcakes Veronika taking center stage. Adorned with fresh fruits and bold florals, the setup added an extra layer of joy and color, making the moment truly unforgettable.
