Sometimes, all you need is a blank canvas, a great team, and a strong color story to create magic—and that’s exactly what happened with this styled shoot by Tay Mayes Photos. Split into two distinct parts—one rich in red, the other grounded in earthy greens—the editorial captures how thoughtful styling and collaborative creativity can turn a simple concept into something cinematic.
Throughout both shoots, Tay Mayes Photos captured each scene with a cinematic lens, layering editorial strength with storytelling softness.
Red Romance
The first part of the shoot took place at Studio Elevn, a clean, white space that allowed every detail to pop—especially the red. From the florals to the fashion, red was the star. The simple studio setting allowed the team to play with shadows and composition, creating a look that felt both high-fashion and cinematic. One of the standout moments? The bride stepping right onto the cake—a fun, rebellious twist that totally worked in the clean, editorial setup.
The floral design by Olive Sage and Floral was completely entrusted to florist Morgan, whose intuitive artistry brought the vision to life without a single mood board. The arrangements had a sculptural, spontaneous feel that fit the vibe perfectly. The dress from Taylar Made Dresses brought even more drama with its bold silhouette and rich texture—an editorial dream from every angle.
Green Elegance
The second half of the shoot transitioned into a softer yet equally powerful visual language. Soft green drapes were layered with lush florals to create a setup that felt a bit like a ceremony scene and a bit like a styled art installation.
Green, a color often underused in bridal palettes, was reimagined here to feel rich and luxurious. The addition of draping brought a softness to the space, offering a sense of intimacy and elevation that would be stunning in any wedding ceremony setup.
From start to finish, this shoot proves that wedding style doesn’t have to be traditional to be beautiful. Whether it’s red and bold or green and romantic, what matters most is how everything comes together. It’s the thoughtful details, the unexpected touches, and the overall vision that make a wedding truly memorable.
