Beyond the beauty, the region offers an endless variety of experiences—truffle hunting in the woods, horseback riding through olive groves, and wine-tasting at centuries-old estates. The venues are as diverse as the land itself: grand resorts with five-star amenities, private villas for intimate celebrations, and castles where every stone tells a story.
This spring, WedVibes brought together 12 leading wedding planners from around the world for an exclusive venue discovery tour. The goal was simple yet powerful: to let planners experience Tuscany exactly as their couples would – through its villas, castles, food, wine, and unforgettable activities.
Over four days, the wedding planners were immersed in a curated itinerary designed by the WedVibes team to highlight Tuscany’s finest. Each stop combined hospitality, history, and hands-on experiences, from olive grove walks to interactive dinners with Michelin chefs and top Italian vendors. Behind the Scenes of the Tour
Day 1. Florence & Villa Medicea di Lilliano
The adventure began in Florence with arrivals at Villa Medicea di Lilliano. Nestled just minutes from the city, the villa blends history, sophistication, and sweeping vineyard views of Malenchini Wine Estate. With its lemon groves, rooftop terraces, and Renaissance architecture, it’s a dream for couples seeking an authentic yet accessible Tuscan experience.
The welcome included wine cellar tours and olive grove strolls, followed by an open session with WedVibes founders and a stunning dinner setup with flowers from Federico Di Prima, candlelight, and unforgettable Italian cuisine by Delizia Ricevimenti Firenze. Planners, Villa managers, and vendors gathered for conversations, music, and laughter—a true opening-night celebration.

Day 2. Castello Del Nero, Borgo Pignano & Fontanelle Estate
The morning took us to COMO Castello Del Nero, a 12th-century castle turned luxury resort. With a private chapel, manicured gardens, and Michelin-starred dining, it’s a perfect fit for couples wanting regal elegance. Lunch was an indulgent Michelin experience.
Next was Borgo Pignano, a sustainable 18th-century estate set on 750 acres. Known for its organic produce, vineyards, and wildflower meadows, it’s ideal for couples dreaming of nature-infused celebrations. A soap-making workshop at the Herbal Lab added an artisanal touch.
Dinner and an overnight stay followed at Fontanelle Estate, where the boutique hotel, historic wine cellar, and panoramic terraces offered sophistication and Tuscan warmth. A pianist, Aldo Ferrini accompanied the evening along with culinary experience from Il Visibilio, making the experience unforgettable.

Day 3 — Borgo San Felice, Il Borro & Viesca Toscana
The day began at Borgo San Felice, a medieval hamlet turned five-star resort. With its Romanesque chapel, cobbled streets, we enjoyed Michelin dining – perfect for immersive wedding weekends.

The afternoon took us to Il Borro, the Ferragamo family’s estate. With cobblestone streets, artisan workshops, and organic vineyards, it embodies Renaissance charm and modern exclusivity. A private art gallery tour and wine tasting at Ill Borro Wines added depth to the experience.

The last evening concluded at Viesca Toscana, part of Il Borro’s collection. With elegant villas, a chapel, and cypress-lined gardens, it’s perfect for a full wedding weekend. The night ended with a gala dinner organized by Anastasia, Happy Moments Collector with the concept from Kristina Yunusova, featuring live music from the one and only BLUNOTTE EVENTI team and DJ JD Events, curated florals and sophisticated decor by the Bloom Ministry, and impeccable food.
