A subtle feeling of nostalgia runs through the collection, reflecting on the past while still looking ahead. That mood is balanced with a strong focus on form, inspired by early female couturiers like Jeanne Lanvin and Madame Grès. Botanical details appear throughout in soft, intricate embroidery inspired by archival illustrations, including a clematis vine, a quiet nod to the designer’s mother. There’s a sense of storytelling in the smaller elements too, like a ruffed grouse reimagined as a tin-style pin, referencing traditional Pennsylvania German hand-punched tin and the landscapes of her childhood. Each detail feels considered, personal, and subtly layered.
