Why did you choose Callisto Farms as the location? What personal meaning does it hold?

Upstate New York is such a special place for us—it is where we fell in love and where we have shared some of our most intimate moments as a couple. Callisto Farms, in particular, has been the backdrop for many romantic weekends, so it felt natural to celebrate our engagement there.

Tell us about your gowns: why was it important to include vintage and sustainable elements?

Each look was chosen to reflect different parts of my style and our story. The first—a custom upcycled gown of vintage lace, doilies, and tablecloths—was handcrafted in Mallorca by Kettel Atelier and felt deeply meaningful in its sustainability and artistry. The second was designed with my go-to atelier, The LG Project, inspired by an iconic 2002 Valentino gown once worn by Naomi Campbell. The third look, a cotton set from the upcoming WeWoreWhat Spring ’26 collection, brought everything full circle by previewing the next chapter for my brand.

Do you have a favorite image that feels “most like you as a couple”?

One of our favorites is the picnic photo, where we felt most like ourselves. We completely got lost in the moment, laughing and having fun—it captures the ease of our relationship in the most natural way.

l've been a huge fan and friend of Kettel Atelier for years (first wearing a piece to Coachella 2024) and knew the second I got engaged that I wanted to create something special with Laura. This dress is a one-of-a-kind design from upcycled vintage lace, doilies, and tablecloths, and was handmade in Mallorca. It's so special and was perfect for this
