Marcela and Curtis, a charming couple whose love story blossomed at the water cooler in sunny Los Angeles, embarked on a journey that led them to a breathtaking Italian wedding. The pair’s initial coffee date evolved into a beautiful love story, and soon, they found themselves sharing a cozy apartment in Santa Monica, complete with the delightful addition of a fluffy Australian Shepherd named Harry.

When planning their wedding, Marcela and Curtis envisioned an intimate celebration that would leave a lasting impression on their guests. Without hesitation, they knew that Italy, with its timeless charm, was the perfect setting for their special day.

They sought to embrace the beauty of the Italian countryside, allowing the villa’s allure to shine through in every captured moment. Marcela, the bride, had a vision of delicate lace, white flowers surrounded by lush greenery, and the soft glow of dimly lit candles.

In the heart of the rural landscapes of Tuscany, amid green hills adorned with vineyards and olive groves, stands the beautiful Borgo di Pietrafitta Relais villa. This is the chosen venue for the couple to fulfill their wedding dreams.

Every detail was carefully considered, reflecting the couple’s love for the classics. The wedding stationery was also crafted in an elegant and classic style. White paper with golden text, executed in a delicate calligraphic font, looked sophisticated. Photographer Sanshine Photography, with the vision of a true artist, captured the beauty of each detail in timeless photographs.

Marcela’s beautiful wedding morning was spent preparing for the ceremony, surrounded by her friends and her mother, who assisted her in donning the bridal gown. The bride’s hair was elegantly styled, adorned with a delicate branch hairpin, imparting a particularly tender charm to her look. The light, natural makeup emphasized Marcela’s inherent beauty.

Her favorite aspect of the ensemble was the veil, lovingly handcrafted by her mother—a cherished heirloom to pass down to a daughter one day potentially. Marcela opted for a fun and glamorous off-the-shoulder embroidered look for her second dress.

Marcela’s bridal look embodied her vision of timelessness. Envisioning long sleeves, Chantilly lace, and a cathedral-length veil, she faced the challenge of finding the perfect dress. However, the moment she looked at the dress displayed in a window, she knew it was the one. The adventure took an unexpected turn when Marcela’s wedding dress, purchased in Italy to avoid travel complications, went missing during shipping delays caused by the pandemic. Fearing she might never see the dress again, months of waiting turned into a miraculous reunion as the gown eventually found its way back to Marcela’s home in California.

Curtis also prepared for the wedding in the morning, with his groomsmen assisting him. For his wedding attire, Curtis chose a sharp, classic suit complemented by a bow tie, adding an elegant touch to his look.

The ceremony took place in an incredible location. The altar for the ceremony was positioned in a stunning spot, offering a breathtaking view of the green hills. The arch was entirely adorned with lush greenery and embellished with white flowers. The pathway to the arch was also decorated with compositions of greenery and delicate roses, creating a magnificent atmosphere reminiscent of a fairy tale

Marcela and Curtis were pronounced husband and wife when the heartfelt vows were exchanged. Guests welcomed the new couple with joyous applause and congratulations. As the newlyweds walked down the aisle, they were showered with white rose petals, creating a beautiful and celebratory scene.

After the ceremony, photographer Sanshine Photography captured beautiful portraits of the couple. She didn’t just take photographs; she crafted timeless masterpieces like a true artist. Skillfully showcasing the beauty and love between Marcela and Curtis and the majestic surroundings of the wedding venue, Sanshine Photography turned the setting sun into a golden glow, creating stunning images. Preserving these moments like magic, she immortalized the essence of the day.

The location of the ceremony looked like an accurate fairy tale, adorned with festive string lights that sparkled. Instead of a traditional tablecloth, the table featured a path of greenery and white flowers down the middle. Candles decorated the table, contributing to the enchanting atmosphere. As the sun disappeared behind the hills, the pleasant twilight air became aglow with hundreds of lights from garlands, candles, and crystal chandeliers, creating a magical ambiance.
