This styled shoot is a celebration of elegance and imagination, where haute couture meets soft vintage aesthetics inside a Dutch castle. The editorial embraced both tradition and playfulness, featuring multiple models styled as bride, groom, and guests to fully explore every element of a wedding day. Every frame feels carefully curated yet alive, capturing the refined beauty of the setting and the vibrancy of the florals.
Venue’s Golden Charm
The editorial unfolded at Koonings The Wedding Castle, a striking Dutch estate in the south of the Netherlands. Its golden-yellow walls stood bold against the green gardens, instantly setting a romantic tone. Tall arched windows framed the rooms with soft daylight, while heavy curtains in warm tones added depth and intimacy. Inside, crystal chandeliers and ornate furniture matched the castle’s refined character, creating a perfect contrast to the fresh, pastel florals. The outdoor steps, draped in a deep blue carpet for the shoot, became a grand stage for the couple’s entrance, echoing the castle’s regal and welcoming presence.
“The venue is a beautiful Dutch castle in the south of the Netherlands. I fell in love with the yellow colour of this castle.”

Bridal Haute Couture
Each bridal look told a different story. The gowns, all provided by Koonings The Wedding Palace, balanced modern couture with classic romance. A voluminous Viktor & Rolf design unfolded in layers of soft petals, while a sleek, long-sleeved silhouette with statement cuffs brought quiet sophistication. One delicate floral lace gown swept across the floor in the softest train, perfectly complementing the castle’s vintage rooms. The final outdoor look — a dramatic pink ruffled dress — added a playful twist, moving freely in the garden’s open air. Accessories by Abrazi and Poirier Bridal added subtle sparkle, while Rainbow Club shoes completed the refined styling.
“The bride graces us with stunning haute couture wedding dresses, which looked elegant and playful at the same time. Her nude make up accentuated her natural beauty.”

Groom’s Vintage Layers
The groom’s looks featured timeless tailoring with a nod to vintage. Multi-layered suits by Guglielmogo, paired crisp cuts with soft-toned fabrics, creating a contrast against the bride’s elaborate gowns. Shoes by Paulo Bellini added polish, reinforcing the groom’s understated, classic appeal.
“The groom embraced vintage look, multi layering suits.”

Vibrant Guests
Guests brought vibrancy to the scene in dresses and suits styled by Anne van Lieshout from Amie Styling. Soft corals, peach, pale blue, and warm neutrals blended naturally with the floral palette, enhancing the overall romantic mood. “The guests were dressed in colourful dresses and suits, which perfectly matched the palette of flowers,” said the photographer.
Dreamy Floral Design
The floral design by Wauw Event softened the grandeur of the rooms with pastel blooms and wild garden-inspired arrangements. Full roses, blush pinks, creamy whites, and touches of lavender created an elegant harmony that mirrored the vintage atmosphere of the castle.
“The floral design in this editorial was fabulous where palette of flowers blooms and vintage aesthetics came together in perfect harmony.”

Cake and Sweet Details
Cheffis Pastries presented pastel-toned treats with intricate piping and delicate finishing for the dessert table. The cookies, adorned with tiny pressed flowers, added a personal, whimsical note that tied perfectly with the romantic theme.
“The cake and treats looked amazing with the pastel colors and did you take a look at the cookie with the flower in it? Love it!”
