Scarlet Romance at a Tuscan-Inspired Estate

The luxury editorial content workshop was hosted at Villarica Estate in Adelaide Hills, Australia. This European-inspired venue, with its Tuscan charm, provided the perfect backdrop for an editorial shoot that combined timeless elegance with modern romance. The vision centered on fashion-forward bridal wear, dreamy fabrics, and an artistic approach to styling.

Capturing the magic of the day was photographer and videographer Courtney Tilston from La Este Film. Her ability to harness natural light and frame each moment with precision transformed the editorial vision into reality. Every frame felt intentional, highlighting the movement of the fabrics, the intimate moments between the couple, and the grand elegance of the setting.

This idea came to life through a series of striking bridal looks, each telling its own story. The first look featured Homebodii Brooklyn Bodysuit & Rosalina Robe, paired with a pearl necklace for intimate preparation portraits. This delicate yet modern ensemble added a sense of quiet luxury to the morning shots. For the wedding dress, Saint Bridal Darcy Gown was chosen—a billowing textured organza skirt floating over a fully corseted bodice.

"The inspiration for the editorial was modern & luxury Tuscan romance, repeating themes of a scarlet color palette, vintage pearl accessories, intricate glassware."

Another standout piece was the Saint Bridal Madeleine gown, crafted from pleated off-white chiffon with detachable sleeves, cascading into a full and textural train. This gown brought an air of effortless romance, moving gracefully with each step.

"The most interesting part of the workshop was the concept of intentionally shooting in direct sun and utilising light in different ways."

The couple, Alicia and Thomas, embraced this setting, creating moments of connection and movement that felt authentic and elegant. A classic Mercedes-Benz 220A Ponton added a vintage allure, complementing the bride’s sleek, draped gown. The couple’s moment beside the car captured the essence of effortless sophistication, a nod to Old Hollywood glamour.

"The venue influenced the photoshoot by already exerting a timeless aesthetic."

Floral design by Studio Botanic embraced a bold scarlet color palette, featuring tropical Anthuriums wrapped in golden ribbon with Italian script, “La vita è bella” (Life is beautiful). The striking contrast of deep reds against the venue’s neutral tones created a visually compelling aesthetic. Arrangements of dahlias, hydrangeas, and roses added depth, while soft greenery framed the setting naturally.

"We wanted florals to feel sculptural, almost like living art. The mix of rich reds and soft textures brought depth and movement to every composition."

The tablescape was adorned with Maison Paper draping tablecloths and mesh napkins with rose petals. Glass plates from La Simplicité, sculptural candles from Eternal Glow, and elegant candle holders from Prop It Pretty enhanced the refined setting. Silk ribbons with Italian script draped across place settings, adding a poetic element to the experience. Every detail was intentional, creating a rich sensory atmosphere.

"It was about creating an experience, not just a look. Every element, from the fashion to the florals, was chosen to evoke emotion and transport guests to another time and place."

The night concluded under a canopy of fairy lights from Venue Productions, illuminating an intimate dinner setting. The Pour By Memory Lane champagne tower, draped in silk red fabric, added a luxurious finishing touch to this unforgettable workshop. “We took a liking to the extensive styling choices & details such as the champagne tower silk red tablecloth, pearls, and cherries in/on the champagne glasses/tower, tablescape ribbons, mesh napkins with rose petals, intricate invitations that gave the workshop a well-executed luxury feel.”
