The result was a stunning display of modern glamour, captured beautifully in an unforgettable setting.
Vision Behind the Glam
This editorial shoot was inspired by the festive season, when London transforms into a city of twinkling splendor. From fancy and rich decorations in boutiques to Hyde Park’s glittering views, every detail reflected an urban chic aesthetic.
Pavilion, a luxury private members’ club known for its blend of tradition and modernity, provided the perfect setting to showcase shimmering lights, bold elegance, and timeless love. “Amidst chandeliers and a glamorous tablescape with opulent floral arrangements and contemporary china, Elena and Oliver were shining brightly,” shared the planner.

A City That Never Stops Shining
Knightsbridge in London is more than just a neighborhood — it’s a global symbol of high fashion and vibrant living. Pavilion Club added a unique charm to this reputation, blending indulgence with a thoughtful cultural edge. Nestled among iconic landmarks, it’s a place where ambition is both realized and celebrated. From lively member-only events to elegant weddings on a terrace overlooking Hyde Park, the Pavilion was the perfect backdrop for moments filled with potential and elegance.
Beyond the holiday magic, London carried a glamour that no other city can match. With its rich traditions, royal history, stunning architecture, and extravagant lifestyle, it was an endless source of inspiration. “When I think of London, I picture luxury — high-end hotels with gorgeous lobbies, opulent interiors, and heavy chandeliers. Nothing more to add,” shared the planner.
“The festive season was the perfect inspiration for this editorial shoot. London was ‘dressed’ in its most beautiful way.”

Style & Fashion
Nothing said “city wedding” quite like bold, fashion-forward bridal looks, and this shoot delivered in every way. The first gown by Inbal Dror was sheer perfection. With delicate sequin embellishments, a high slit, and a fitted silhouette, it embodied elegance with a daring twist. The second look, a Nadine Merabi fringe dress, added a playful yet glamorous touch, perfect for the after-party vibe.
The hair and makeup by Cassandra Lusi highlighted natural beauty with subtle glamour, perfectly complementing the bridal looks. Accessories from Rosantica and crystal-studded heels by Mach & Mach completed the bride’s radiant transformation.
Decor & Florals
Thanks to Stefanie Barz, the decor from Maison Margaux stayed true to the theme of modern elegance. A white, ivory, gold, and soft rose palette set the tone for opulent yet minimalist tablescapes. Floral Evolution curated striking arrangements of pure white hydrangeas and roses, avoiding greenery to maintain the urban and clean aesthetic.
To add depth, textured candles in gold holders and unexpected elements — “We incorporated sparkling accessories into the tablescape and served shoes for dinner and chandelier earrings for dessert,” — shared the planner.
Challenges Behind the Scenes
No great project came without its hurdles; this shoot was no exception. Brexit-related customs delays left the original gowns stuck in transit, forcing the team to scramble for a last-minute solution. Local boutiques stepped up, providing stunning alternatives that ultimately fit the concept.
The search for models was another adventure. A string of cancellations led to a day-of replacement for the male model, but the final pair had undeniable chemistry, bringing a vibrant energy to the shoot. Stefanie and the team’s ability to pivot led to an even better outcome — proving that creativity flourishes under pressure.
This shoot became more than inspiration — it served as a roadmap for couples dreaming of a city wedding that was both bold and timeless. From fashion and decor to the ability to adapt and innovate, it showcased how the unexpected could elevate a vision. For those who loved the energy of the city, the sparkle of the festive season, and the romance of modern design, this editorial proved that the magic of London could be captured and celebrated in every detail.
