Matthew and Jessica met through her aunt, who, seeing the potential for a perfect match, nudged niece to connect with him. Although it took some time, Matthew eventually reached out, and their bond grew quickly. In January 2023, he orchestrated a surprise proposal. Jessica recalls feeling confused, expecting a birthday celebration for Matthew’s mother, only to be led home to a scene of candles and flowers. She remembers thinking, “What did Matthew’s dad do for his mum’s birthday?” only to discover the setup was for her—an unforgettable proposal she would cherish forever.
Bridal Morning
Jessica’s wedding day began with a mix of excitement and nerves, getting ready in a stunning Pallas Couture gown. The fitted, beaded dress showcased Jessica’s elegance and style, paired with Jimmy Choo heels for an added touch of luxury. Her fragrance of choice, Maddison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat, added a soft, sweet note to the morning. With her hair styled by Rachelle Rose and makeup by Jenny Do, she looked every bit the radiant bride.
Her bouquet, filled with white florals added a delicate touch that fit perfectly with the wedding’s classic vibe. Jessica’s bridesmaids, dressed in sleek, chic designs by Sisstudio, were the perfect complement to her timeless look.
Groom's Fashion
Matthew’s attire was equally stylish, with a custom suit from Alex Goodman and shoes by Aquila. His look included personalized cufflinks, which added a sentimental touch to his outfit. He admitted to feeling both excited and nervous, but ready to marry the woman of his dreams.
"It was special seeing Matt the groom smile all day. You could see the way he was looking at his beautiful wife. He is so deep in love. "

Ceremony
The ceremony took place at St Martha’s Catholic Church in Strathfield. Matthew and Jessica chose a traditional Catholic service, surrounded by family and friends. They left the ceremony “relieved, happy, excited, and ready to go party.” In a heartwarming surprise, the priest serenaded them with Matthew’s favorite soccer team’s anthem, bringing a unique touch to the event that resonated with everyone.
"I have shot lots of weddings but this wedding was very special, seeing Jess and Matt get married was very close to my heart. I had seen them at many other weddings I have photographed and I couldn't wait for their special day. "
