Imagine spending a day in a luxurious French hotel just a few steps from the iconic Avenue des Champs-Elysées. As you walk through the interior, you are greeted by high ceilings, parquet floors, a marble fireplace, and large windows that overlook the park, where you can admire fragile and beautiful sculptures like this bride, wearing an iconic Parisian designer dress. We created this breathtaking scene for a recent editorial shoot in Paris.
Kristina Bastien, an award-winning Canadian wedding photographer, captured all this ambiance and beauty. She creates cinematic poetry with her unique vision. Among her clients are many upscale couples whose brides are genuinely interested in finding show-stopping, distinctive dresses for their special days.
For this shoot, we chose the place in the heart of culture, art & fashion – Hotel de Berri, A Luxury Collection Hotel, located in the fashionable 8th arrondissement of Paris, near the prestigious Parisian’ Triangle d’or’ (Champs-Elysées, Avenue Montaigne, Avenue George V). The place combines the private art collection with Parisian elegance to create an authentic and homely atmosphere. The decor and floral elements were kindly provided by Save The Date.
For a modern bride in Paris, nothing could be a more perfect fit than dresses from Rime Arodaky! Her chic bride is unbounded by tradition and desires something cool and effortless for her special day. So we opted for a Celeste, a gown made of 10 layers of silk Organza, 3 meters of the train, statement sleeves, and delicate cut-outs. And, of course, we fell in love with the first sight in the exceptional Nuit de Folie couture gown made entirely of organza and tulle, embroidered with mini shiny crystal sequins, mixing couture and sassy and inspired by Paris at night.
For a bold and striking bridal appearance, the stunning makeup and hair artist Anna Vereta accentuated the finer details with her craft – from the dramatic black lips to the graphic white eyeliner and red lipstick. The ensemble was complemented impeccably by Garash Vintage‘s accessories collection, with each element thoughtfully curated to create a standout and cohesive look from head to toe.
