Vows at Sunset in the Spanish Mountains

High above the valley floor, Artem and Anastasia’s wedding at Vivood Landscape Hotel felt like a cinematic escape—glamorous, emotional, and perfectly secluded. With just 2.5 months to plan, they brought together close loved ones for an intimate celebration designed by Alyne Karla Carneiro, where every element—from the ethereal ceremony to the candlelit dinner and groom’s surprise performance—was thoughtfully orchestrated to reflect the couple’s vision and the wild beauty of Guadalest.

Location: Guadalest, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain
Style: Glamorous, emotional, intimate
Time of planning: 2,5 months
Number of guests: 40
Setting: Hotel
Season: Spring

Artem and Anastasia met by chance in a recording studio in Madrid, unaware that this encounter would one day lead to a wedding in the mountains of Spain. The proposal came unexpectedly at home—an unplanned, emotional moment that felt completely right. When they began envisioning their wedding, they knew they wanted something intimate and atmospheric: just their closest people, a beautiful remote location, great music, and aesthetic décor.

Couple's Morning

The morning unfolded slowly and quietly inside her suite, where Anastasia got ready with her mother by her side, who helped button up the gown and held her hand between moments. The room carried the scent of Mancera’s “Instant Crush”, and Anastasia, surrounded by stillness, looked strikingly serene.

Her hair, styled into a sleek low bun by Dubinina Hairstylist, and makeup by Makeup Matveeva, allowed her natural beauty to take the spotlight. She looked exactly how she felt—radiant, loved, and entirely herself.

Her gown by Mila Nova was a study in sculptural minimalism. Strapless with a structured bodice, it fit her like a glove, with a subtle fold at the back and an asymmetric lace insert with its elegant draping. Paired with Jimmy Choo heels and minimalist accessories from a local Spanish brand, the look was refined and intentional. A soft tulle veil completed her silhouette during the ceremony, gently trailing behind her as she walked down the floral-lined aisle.

Artem got ready in a separate suite, surrounded by mountain views that mirrored his calm, collected mood. He wore a classic black Tom Ford suit paired with glossy Christian Louboutin loafers, layering in personal flair through accessories by Dolce & Gabbana and Loewe. His shoulder-length hair framed his face as he buttoned his white shirt, quietly focused, and visibly moved by what the day represented.

"Both eagerly awaited their first look: when Anastasia stepped onto the glass-railed terrace, framed by the hotel’s minimalist architecture and the majestic mountain backdrop—their surprise and joy spoke volumes."

Ceremony

The ceremony took place on a glass platform that extended toward the valley, seemingly suspended above the cliffs of Guadalest. The backdrop was spectacular and dramatic—rugged rock faces glowing with late afternoon light, olive trees framing the view, and sky stretching endlessly above. The aisle, covered in a white runner, was bordered with soft clouds of baby’s breath, hydrangeas, and roses placed directly on the ground. At the altar, clear acrylic columns of varying heights held floating floral arrangements, echoing the soft ivory palette and playing with light, air, and reflection.

Planner Alyne Karla Carneiro brought the couple’s vision to life with masterful sensitivity. The layout was clean and deliberate, and every detail was woven into the space: from the transparent chairs and platform to the candlelight discreetly set between the florals. Her touch was especially visible in how balanced the space felt—romantic, but not overdone; modern, but not cold. Everything blended seamlessly with the couple’s desire for beauty, intimacy, and emotion.

As guests found their seats, flower girls in cozy vests scattered petals along the aisle, setting the tone for the heartfelt exchange to follow. Anastasia walked in with her father, her veil trailing behind her as all eyes turned toward the mountain-framed altar. The ceremony, officiated by Andrey Gnedash, was deeply personal, with vows that moved both the couple and their guests to tears. Artem’s gaze never left Anastasia, and as they exchanged rings handed by a young guest, the moment felt suspended in time—quiet, powerful, and unforgettable.

"Every candle, petal, and glass reflection worked in harmony to envelop the ceremony in an ethereal, unforgettable atmosphere."

Cocktail Hour

At the golden hour, guests gathered under the olive trees, soft light filtering through string lights above. The cocktail hour unfolded in a relaxed, joyful rhythm—guests mingled, laughed, and toasted with coupe glasses of champagne while soft music played in the background. The team from Tubarman.es crafted elegant cocktails and sparkling pours, served alongside strawberries and fresh garnishes, adding brightness and texture to the moment.

One of the highlights was the couple’s champagne tower—Artem and Anastasia poured together, their hands steady and smiling as fountains of Moët spilled into glass after glass. Fireworks flared behind them, and their guests clapped, cheered, and pulled out phones to capture the scene. It was glamorous and celebratory —a transition from ceremony to evening that kept everyone immersed.

Reception

As night fell, the celebration moved into a warmly lit hall draped in sheer white fabrics and twinkling fairy lights. The tables were set with crisp linens, glass chargers, and minimalist stationery by Sweet Sisters Team. Each place setting felt intimate and tailored, while low arrangements of white roses and baby’s breath in small faceted vases ran down the center. Candlelight flickered between glasses and floral textures, creating a soft glow that wrapped around the room. Guests raised glasses and took turns delivering emotional toasts—some filled with laughter, others with tears—each one pulling the couple closer to the people who mattered most.

Later in the evening, attention turned to the cake: a modern three-tier design with sculptural white sugar petals trailing down one side. It stood surrounded by glossy, single-serve confections—mini macarons finished with the same delicate texture. The overall presentation was thoughtful, polished, and quietly luxurious. Artem and Anastasia cut the cake together while their guests applauded, and the moment felt like the final chapter of something magical before the dance floor opened.

Their first dance was cinematic. Beneath waves of soft fabric and fairy lights, Artem lifted Anastasia into the air as fog swirled around their feet. Her dress moved with weightless elegance, her smile lit up the room. Music carried them into a world of their own, and their guests watched with emotion and joy. The night that had started with stillness and sincerity ended in motion and celebration.

Party

As the formalities faded, the night lit up in full swing. Guests came to the dance floor that shimmered under the reflections of dozens of disco balls, as the DJ filled the room with energy and bass. Children twirled under scattered light beams, adding a joyful touch to the atmosphere. The bar kept the rhythm going with colorful, handcrafted cocktails and candy jars that became a late-night hit. From the “Better Together” neon sign glowing behind the crowd to the confetti underfoot, every element of the night was alive and moving.

The biggest surprise came from Artem himself. In the middle of the celebration, he took the mic and performed a song he had written for Anastasia—a personal, unexpected gift that caught everyone off guard. For a moment, the room held its breath. Then applause, cheers, and a rush of emotion filled the space. From that point on, the energy never dropped. Everyone danced—kids, parents, friends, arms in the air and faces lit with joy.

"Love, emotions, atmosphere, people, thoughtful and organized preparation. Everything about that day was special for us."

Advice from the couple:
