Their journey, however, was not without challenges. Enduring years of physical distance, the couple dedicated hours after work to bridge the gap between them. The turning point arrived when Jaret secured a spot in medical school, prompting Anna to make the life-changing decision to move to Atlanta.
The pinnacle of their love story was Jaret’s heartfelt proposal on June 30th. Choosing a park bench adorned with champagne and flowers, he went down on one knee, leaving Anna completely surprised in that intimate moment. The proposal unfolded precisely as she had imagined, with Jaret presenting a beautiful letter that made the occasion even more special, shared between just the two of them.
With the engagement sealed, the couple set their sights on creating a memorable wedding. Choosing April 8th, 2023, as the date, they envisioned an event at the St. Regis in Atlanta, GA. Their goal was to have the guests enjoy the celebration while embodying an intimate and romantic atmosphere. The St. Regis, with its timeless charm, proved to be the perfect setting for their dream wedding.
Anna opted for an effortless and natural look, wearing a classic Pronovias dress. Her low, twisted bun and bronzy, glowy makeup perfectly complemented her vision. Classic pearl earrings, a gift from her mom, completed her elegant ensemble.
Jaret exuded incredible elegance in his wedding attire. Opting for a classic black suit, he radiated timeless sophistication. The ensemble was meticulously complemented by a bow tie, adding a touch of refinement and festive flair to his look.
The first look brought tears to both Anna and Jaret’s eyes. It was an incredibly emotional moment as the couple laid eyes on each other for the first time in their wedding attire.
Despite unexpected rain, the ceremony moved indoors, creating an intimate and special atmosphere. The transformation of the space with flowers left Anna in awe. The unity of friends and family in one space made the day surreal and memorable.
“I initially felt uneasy about it being moved inside since I had envisioned it being on the terrace on the rooftop. Still, the ceremony made it feel so intimate and unique. One of my favorite moments was walking down the aisle with such a sense of peace. The flowers transformed the entire space, and I was in awe the whole night with how beautifully everything came together.” shared Anna

The chosen venue, the St. Regis, featured stunning chandeliers that adorned the entire space, creating an ambiance reminiscent of a classic vintage ballroom.
While the overarching concept was well-defined, the challenge lay in the meticulous details. Every decision was necessary, from selecting linens to crafting the seating chart and choosing the perfect music. Navigating through these nuances was a task that required attention and care.
Fortunately, Anna and Jaret enlisted the expertise of their incredible wedding planner, Victoria, from LUXE Atlanta Events. Her guidance was pivotal in navigating the intricate decisions, ensuring each choice aligned seamlessly with the envisioned atmosphere. With Victoria’s assistance, the couple brought to life a wedding that mirrored their inspiration and surpassed their expectations, creating a timeless celebration filled with elegance and sophistication.
A poignant moment at the reception was the couple’s first dance. As Anna and Jaret gracefully twirled in the center of the dance floor, guests were enchanted by their beautiful dance and the atmosphere of love that permeated this exquisite moment.
The reception was filled with heartfelt congratulatory speeches, each one delivered with sincere warmth and affection for the lovebirds. Each congratulatory message elicited emotions of joy and happiness, making this moment one of the most precious for the couple.
The highlight of the evening was the wedding cake. A four-tiered masterpiece crafted in a classic style, this culinary delight not only served as a delicious dessert but also stood as a centerpiece, adding a touch of elegance to the night.

One of my favorite moments was when Jaret and I had a private moment right after the ceremony. Being surrounded by that many people you love in one room to watch you marry the love of your life is unique, so anything unplanned won’t change that.”
