With panoramic views of the Eternal City, a beautifully designed marble-inspired reception, and heartfelt personal touches, their day was a perfect blend of sophistication and intimacy. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, every moment—from the vows on the terrace to the sparkling champagne tower—was filled with romance and unforgettable memories.

Location: Rome, Italy
Style: Luxury, elegant, timeless, roman
Time of planning: 9 months
Number of guests: 26
Setting: Hotel’s panoramic terrace
Season: Summer

Their love story began in a bar in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2018, where Jessica worked as a bartender, and Christopher quickly became her favorite customer. Their connection blossomed over nine months of laughter and friendship before Christopher finally mustered the courage to ask her out. From that moment on, they’ve been inseparable.

On April 10, 2023, Christopher proposed in the sweetest way possible, surrounded by their beloved fur babies—Jessica’s whole world. Knowing how much they mean to her, he made them part of the moment, with their rescue pups wearing special collars and her oldest dog carrying the ring on its collar. It was a proposal that melted her heart and captured their love perfectly.

Vision & Planning

Jessica and Christopher pictured their wedding in the heart of ancient Rome, surrounded by their closest loved ones. “We wanted the day to be focused on our love and sharing that with our favorite group of people,” Jessica shared. Their goal was to keep the planning process stress-free, allowing them to be truly present in every moment. With the expert guidance of Danila Stella Events, their dream destination wedding became a reality. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, ensuring their special day was as seamless and meaningful as they had hoped. From start to finish, it was a celebration that perfectly captured their vision and love story.

"Our wedding wish was to have an intimate wedding with close loved ones who could experience the Italian culture and beautiful country with us."

Couple's Morning & Fashion

Jessica’s bridal look was breathtaking, perfectly blending timeless elegance with modern flair. She wore an exquisite A-line fitted wedding dress designed by Molle Bridals in Palm Beach, Florida. The gown had a stunning champagne base with ivory lace, a subtle sparkle, and a graceful train, making her every step feel magical. Her choice of shoes added a touch of glamour— Amina Muaddi Begum slingback pumps, known for their chic design and iconic crystal embellishments.

For hair and makeup, Kseniya created a classic yet glamorous look with soft pin curls and a flawless glam makeup style, perfectly complementing Jessica’s sophisticated vibe. She carried a simple yet elegant bouquet of white roses, tying her entire bridal ensemble together with timeless beauty.

Christopher’s wedding day style perfectly combined classic elegance and heartfelt personal touches. He looked stylish in a black tuxedo by Boss with a black bow tie and polished oxford shoes from Charles Tyrwhitt. A single white rose boutonniere added a timeless touch, perfectly complementing the overall look. Adding a playful nod to his personality, he wore custom blue socks featuring “#1 Dad” and photos of their two beloved Pomeranians, a detail that brought warmth and smiles to the occasion. Finishing the look, Christopher accessorized with a sophisticated Rolex watch and cufflinks, embodying both style and sentiment on his special day.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place on the stunning 7th-floor panoramic terrace at The Hassler, offering breathtaking views of Rome as the perfect setting for Jessica and Christopher’s vows. White flowers lined the chairs and adorned the spot where they said, “I do,” creating an elegant and romantic atmosphere.

Adding a deeply personal touch, the officiant was Jessica’s cousin, who flew all the way from New Jersey to celebrate with the couple. “This made the ceremony more unique and special to us,” Jessica shared. He incorporated a meaningful Unity Cup ceremony, symbolizing the blending of two families. In this heartfelt moment, Jessica held white wine while Christopher held red wine, and together, they poured them into a single cup, signifying their union and the coming together of their families. It was a beautiful and unforgettable moment that perfectly reflected their love and connection.

Moments Alone

Surrounded by the ancient beauty and timeless romance of the Eternal City, their elegant Roman wedding drew inspiration from the rich history and stunning architecture that defines Rome. Before the celebration began, the newlyweds took a stroll through the city’s vibrant streets, savoring quiet moments together and soaking in the magic of their surroundings.

Planning & Reception Decor

Jessica and Christopher envisioned a design that incorporated marble, gold, white, and green, with a specific request for no linens and a single long table to create an intimate setting where all their guests could sit together. “We wanted marble, gold, white, and green all to be included in the design,” they shared. Danila Stella Events flawlessly brought their vision to life, crafting a stunning tablescape adorned with elegant white flowers, including Jessica’s requested white rose bouquet. Even the cake was a masterpiece, designed to resemble marble with delicate gold edges. Every detail reflected their style and was executed perfectly, making their reception as beautiful as it was personal.

"Danila Stella helped with every aspect of the planning process."

Celebration

The reception took place on the breathtaking 7th-floor panoramic terrace at The Hassler, offering unparalleled views of Rome that perfectly complemented the elegance of the day. With the exceptional service of a top-tier hotel, Jessica and Christopher created an intimate family-style dinner at one long table where all their guests could sit together. “We wanted it to feel like a family dinner,” they shared. The table was designed to look like marble, paired with gold chairs, white flowers, marble plates, gold-lined glasses, and Roman bust candles, seamlessly blending sophistication with their vision.

The cake was a stunning centerpiece, designed to mimic marble with delicate gold accents, tying in beautifully with the décor. The quartet band exceeded all expectations, playing timeless classics from Sinatra, Dean Martin, and more, adding a romantic soundtrack to the evening. Although there wasn’t a formal wedding party, heartfelt toasts from a few guests brought warmth and emotion to the celebration.

A special limoncello toast followed the champagne tower, which sparkled with lit sparklers, adding a magical touch to the night. The evening continued when a close friend, a performer from the US, joined the band to sing two unforgettable songs. It was the perfect ending to a truly magical wedding day.

"It was an elegant affair tying in the stunning backdrop of ancient architecture and romantic ambiance of Italian style, cuisine, and music."

Advice from the couple:

Embrace the chaos and enjoy every moment. It’s all about celebrating your love and having a blast with your favorite people. It goes by in a flash so make sure to savor every dance, laugh, and cake bite!
