Matthew and Natalie’s story began unexpectedly on Tinder. When Matthew’s dog went missing one day but was quickly found trying to catch a train at Clifton Hill station, Natalie seized the opportunity to invite him for a drink to celebrate, and from that moment on, their love story unfolded. The unforgettable proposal took place in Bali: “We had gone over to surprise my friend (and one of my bridesmaids) Jade for her 30th birthday, and I was so focused on not ruining the surprise I hadn’t even thought he’d propose, so at first I thought he was joking! After reassurance that he wasn’t joking, I said yes! And Jade got two surprises that day,” Natalie shares.
Natalie’s wedding look was simple, modern, and elegant – a natural silk and satin gown from Kyha Studios for herself and her wedding party. She had a pendant made with a photo of her Grandpa, who passed away a few years ago, which she hung on her bouquet, which was a truly meaningful touch for her.
Matthew and his groomsmen wanted to keep things relaxed, so they even managed to fit in a trip to the golf course before the wedding. On the big day, they all wore traditional tuxedos for a classic and timeless look.
Just before the ceremony, Natalie had a heartfelt first look with her father, creating a truly special and touching moment.
The entire wedding was held in a Tuscan-inspired setting, using multiple locations around the property. The ceremony took place at the entrance of the homestead, close to the accommodation. Matthew and Natalie exchanged their vows in front of their beloved guests, which was a heartwarming moment.
The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour around the fountain right after the ceremony. To add an Italian touch, Natalie & Matthew treated their guests to a special limoncello spritz to start the celebration.
The Tuscan theme came to life with rustic chairs surrounded by bountiful olive trees and greenery reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside. The color palette was a perfect blend of warm, earthy tones and sun-kissed hues, creating an inviting and romantic ambiance. The stationery, crafted from soft linens with torn edges, showcased beautiful ivory and white shades.
Morgane at Petite Visuals expertly captured their wedding, inspired by Tuscany’s beauty. Using a blend of film and digital cameras, she created stunning photos and a video that encapsulated the essence of their love story. The video showcased the romantic Tuscan-inspired setting, a lively cocktail hour, and a joyful outdoor reception filled with dancing, singing and lots of fun.
Natalie and Matthew enjoyed a beautiful celebration outdoors under the festoon lights, surrounded by their loved ones celebrating their love.
As the sun set, the newlyweds continued receiving heartfelt wishes that brought both tears and laughter. Following this emotional moment, Natalie and Matthew also gave a beautiful speech to their guests.
The celebration unfolded with everyone dancing the night away. It was a dream wedding for Natalie and Matthew, who were thrilled to share this special day with their loved ones.
