David and Sydney’s serendipitous connection through a mutual friend, who bridged their worlds of opera and ski racing, ignited an inseparable bond that felt as timeless as angels in a Raffael painting. Their story is a testament to the harmonious blend of shared passions and fateful encounters. After Sydney graduated college, the lovebirds lived in two different cities for over three years (including their year-long engagement) before getting married in Brooklyn and relocating to Boston.
With the help of makeup artist Gina Dorilio and hairstylist Christina McKay, the bride achieved a natural yet glamorous look. Her naturally curly hair, complemented by bold makeup, beautifully enhanced her simple yet elegant and statement-making dress.
Sydney about her dress: “From Ukraine through Poland, through the war zone and many miles, my wedding dress embarked on a journey we affectionately dubbed the ‘miracle dress.’ Its arrival just in time symbolized the magic and anticipation of our wedding day!”
David’s best friend added a touch of magic to the first look, making that moment even more special and unforgettable.
Finally, as David’s eyes met Sydney’s, they were filled with an overwhelming expression of love that words could hardly capture.
The wedding exuded timeless elegance with a black and white theme, as male guests donned classic tuxedos and women, including the bridal party, wore long black gowns. Allowing the immediate family to wear blue tuxedos or gowns of their choice added a personal touch, symbolizing the significance of family, which was at the heart of the celebration.
An integral part of the wedding is family. David and Sydney are immensely grateful that their celebration was shared by all five grandmothers and grandfathers, adding an extra layer of happiness to their joyous occasion.
The enchanting backdrop for our celebration was none other than the Brooklyn Museum of Art. With Sydney’s deep roots in Brooklyn, tying the knot at this iconic venue was an extraordinary and sentimental experience, as it held a special place in her heart and memories.
AMG Events and Visuals, the masterminds behind the wedding’s flawless execution, crafted an unforgettable experience for David and Sydney. Their meticulous planning, creative vision, impeccable attention to detail, and Jewish traditions made every moment a dream come true. From seamlessly coordinating the venue to curating an ambiance that perfectly reflected the couple’s love story, AMG Events, and Visuals transformed the wedding into an extraordinary affair that surpassed all expectations.
Grace Torres, the designated photographer for the event, spent the entire day with the couple, capturing the most emotional and significant moments of the day while also crafting unique artistic compositions. In these, a stunning, affectionate, sophisticated, and joyful couple graced the museum’s elegant halls with their radiant smiles and warm embraces.
The Brooklyn Museum transformed into a sea of white flowers for the ceremony, a breathtaking sight that turned the venue into a floral masterpiece. Adam Leffel Production, the creative force behind the floral arrangements, truly outdid themselves, crafting an awe-inspiring work of art that added an ethereal beauty to the occasion. There was also a place for another little miracle – these flowers lasted over 2 months after the wedding.

Advice from the couple:
• Let your guests know they’ll find you on the dance floor, as spending time with each guest can take away from enjoying your day.
• Don’t forget to eat!
• Smaller bridal parties for the win.
• It’s about you – planning is a lot. What you take home with you at the end of the biggest day of your life are the photos and the videos. Make sure you, the couple, make that final decision, above all the other tiny decisions that might involve your family/close friends/guests.
