High in the hills of Buda, Budapest Wedding‘s expertise transformed three iconic venues into chapters of their love story. They understood instinctively how to honor both heritage and modern romance across the historical spaces: from the secret garden atmosphere of Vajdahunyad Castle’s cloister for the rehearsal dinner to the grandeur of Matthias Church for the ceremony, culminating at Halászbástya Restaurant, where terraces overlooking the Danube created an enchanted setting for their reception.
Inside Vajdahunyad Castle’s secluded cloister, Budapest Wedding brought the couple’s “secret garden” vision to life. DEMENY Fénydekoráció‘s crystal chandeliers sparkled among lush greenery installations by Sabina Decors, while The Neon Soda‘s custom LED signage added a modern touch to the medieval walls. Your Song Agency‘s trio filled the space with contemporary hits reimagined through classical instruments, creating an enchanted atmosphere that set the tone for the weekend ahead.
Bride's Look
The morning began at a historic hotel suite, where Nora Brown Makeup created a naturally radiant bridal look. At the same time, Agnes Redli styled timeless waves that would look elegant from ceremony to reception. The bride’s Sareh Nouri gown from Bergdorf Goodman Bridal embodied princess-like elegance without feeling theatrical, its romantic silhouette perfectly complementing the day’s fairytale setting. Manolo Blahnik’s shoes added a touch of modern luxury, while family heirloom jewelry connected past to present.
Ceremony
As the powerful organ filled Matthias Church with soul-stirring music, centuries of history seemed to echo through its ancient walls. Sabina Decors had thoughtfully adorned the historic space with delicate floral touches that respected the church’s magnificent architecture while adding subtle romance to every corner. Eventech Solutions‘s masterful audio design ensured that every note of the organ resonated perfectly, creating moments where guests felt their hearts trembling with emotion.
The couple’s vows resonated through the sacred space, and their words were made even more meaningful by The Fanatic Calligrapher‘s artistically crafted ceremony programs that guests held in their hands. Sunlight filtered through centuries-old stained glass windows, casting ethereal patterns across the gathering as Zsolt Rokolya captured these timeless moments. Reception
Dinner became its own carefully choreographed performance. As guests dined on expertly crafted courses, Eventech Solutions adjusted the lighting to complement the changing sky outside. At the same time, piano melodies from Your Song Agency created the perfect backdrop for heartfelt toasts and shared laughter. Understanding the importance of heritage, the couple wove Hungarian traditions throughout the celebration. Welcome gifts included locally sourced paprika and pálinka.
