Patrick and Emily first met in Dallas through Hinge. Their first date was at a dive bar where they bonded over mutual love for travel. The couple spent first summer in New York City, spending most of weekends in Central Park. 4 years later Patrick made a full circle and proposed near the Loeb Boat House in the Central Park.

From the beginning of the wedding planning with Gaia, Patrick and Emily knew they wanted to get married abroad – having traveled through Italy right after they got engaged, it just felt like the perfect place. Specifically Tuscany’s beautiful rolling hills, delicious wine and relaxed atmosphere made it an easy decision.

Capturing their three-day celebration was Together We Go, who had a deep understanding of what the couple envisioned their big day and made sure the video reflected their style and the overall atmosphere of the celebration. They and the photographer Ben Wheeler caught all the important moments, from the laughter and tears to the quiet, intimate ones, in a way that felt true to Emily and Patrick’s aesthetic.

Their weekend wedding, held at the Villa La Selva Wine Resort, had a rustic charm, true elegance, and romance, drawing inspiration from the Dolce Vita style. The theme was chosen because of the vineyard setting, with a color palette of ivory, rustic greens, and golden hues, complemented by local blooms.

The festivities started with a welcome Pizza party under the stars, illuminated by paper lanterns. Emily’s choice of a Danielle Frankel corset mini dress perfectly matched the fun and flirty atmosphere, while Patrick’s ensemble of white Ralph Lauren pants and a brown Brioni jacket added a touch of elegance.

The second day started with a pool party with custom gifts and tennis matches with personalized tennis balls.

In the evening guest were invited to a rehearsal dinner under a canopy of fairy lights, where Emily stunned in a sleek Danielle Frankel gown and Patrick complemented her in a chic Tom Ford grey suit. The night became even more special with custom poems for guests, reflecting the couple’s deep appreciation for their friends and family.

For the wedding day itself Emily chose a traditional A-line gown by Monique Lhuillier: “It was classic  with a the dramatic train I always envisioned. I drew my inspiration from Kate Middleton’s iconic wedding dressed, and envisioned a gown that mirrored her timeless elegance. This dress captured a traditional essence while infusing elements of modern, fashion-forward sophistication.” – Emily said.
Patrick wore a classic Tom Ford tux for the ceremony and dinner.

Emily and Patrick exchanged their vows in the warm glow of the setting sun, creating a moment of pure joy and love. Towering cypress trees, white floral arrangements, warm natural light and petals in the air made this moment unforgettable.

After the ceremony, Emily and Patrick took a quiet walk in the Tuscan sunset. They enjoyed a this peaceful moment together before the evening’s festivities began.

The reception was set on a Tuscan terrace, tables were decorated with white flowers, magnificent chandeliers hung above tables and candles created a soft, inviting glow.

Emily knew from the beginning she would have a few outfit changes on the wedding night: “After scrolling through Instagram, I was instantly drawn to Meghan Fahy’s stunning appearance at the SAG Awards, wearing a sparkling white Ralph Lauren gown. Through the help of a close friend, I was able to secure the dress and wore it during our wedding dinner.”

Guidi Lenci, a renowned caterer based in Florence, gave a world-class experience both with the rehearsal dinner and the wedding night. The perfect end to the traditional Italian wedding experience was the Millefeuille: All of our guests raved about the food, the wine, as well as the service of the waiters for all three nights. The cuisine added an extra layer of experience that would truly only be felt in Tuscany.” – Emily shared.

At afterparty Emily sparkled in her Clio Peppiatt Bridal Crystal Dress, customized with her new last name etched on the corner, a playful and personal touch. “It was the most fun way to end the night in something that I could dance in, and to be able to show off my new last name in a unique way,” – she said. Patrick matched her energy, swapping his ceremony attire for a stunning Brioni blue and black party jacket. Together with their family and friends they danced the night away, moving to the rhythm of a live band that filled the space with vibrant beats.

Advice from couple:

There’s a lot of cliche advice out there, but the best advice we have is to make decisions that make you happy – don’t ask for too many opinions, just trust your gut. Your day should encompass who you and your partner are.

It goes by so fast, and if you pick the planner and vendors that you trust, you will feel relaxed on your day while they do all of the work so you can sit back and enjoy all the love and celebrations your friends and family want to give you.
