Maria Chiara and Alessandro’s romance blossomed from professional acquaintances in Turkey to love in Milan, quickly leading to a life together. He surprised her with a proposal at a Milanese restaurant, with a ring hidden under a dessert plate. Embracing their Sardinian and Romagnan roots, they chose the picturesque Tuscan Romagna Apennines to celebrate their wedding, ensuring their diverse Italian traditions were honored.
Their wedding was held in a meticulously restored 13th-century stone country resort nestled on the border of Casentino National Park in Central Italy. The resort is surrounded by a captivating natural atmosphere of woods, cypresses, and chestnut forests. Vineyards, organic farms, and the serene flow of rivers frame the breathtaking panoramic views that guests enjoyed throughout the celebration.
The bride’s search for the perfect dress concluded with a stunning model in its non-traditional hue and sleek design that featured a distinctive neckline and shoulder details. Her gown’s ruffles, reminiscent of calla lilies, were a nod to both her bouquet and the unique wedding cake. Complementing the modern dress, a hairstyle and a classic cage veil showed her true elegant Italian personality.
The ceremony took place in an old church, its simple yet awe-inspiring architecture providing a sacred space for Maria Chiara and Alessandro to exchange their vows in front of their friends and family.
After the vows were exchanged, guests went to the villa where they were treated to a cocktail hour under the sun-drenched sky in the main front garden. The air was filled with the smooth sounds of a saxophone player, whose melodies added a touch of class and joy to the celebrations.
In a brief escape from the festivities, the newlyweds shared a quiet moment alone. This intimate time allowed them to connect deeply amidst the day’s excitement.
