Tom and Constance first met in London, and on a rainy day in January, Tom asked her for an impromptu first date to a quaint little wine shop. Before even finishing a first glass of wine, they both intuitively knew this was the beginning of something special. After 6 months, Tom surprised Constance with a trip to Lake Como in Italy for their first holiday together. There, amidst its breathtaking beauty, they fell in love with each other and the serene charm of the Lake.

The videographers Jacob & Pauline captured their day in a way that feels like a trailer for a heartwarming Italian love story. It shows tender touches and a sparkle in the couple’s eyes during their big, wonderful day. The pure love evident in every frame highlights their standout work, making it something you’ll want to watch over and over.

Of course, the couple decided to get married on Lake Como: “In our pursuit for the perfect wedding venue, it was essential to find a location that truly encapsulated the beauty of the lake,” Constance said. Villa Aura del Lago was their chosen spot, a stunning traditional Italian villa that embodied everything they adore about Lake Como’s unique beauty.

“I was starting to panic I was never going to say yes to the dress,” Constance shared about her journey to find the perfect wedding gown. But eventually, she found her dream dress, a traditional A-line silhouette with a touch of modern elegance, designed by Suzanne Neville.

Tom wore a custom-made tux designed in London. “As a surprise, he had our initials and wedding date sewn into the inside of the jacket,” the bride mentioned.

Their wedding ceremony was a beautiful exchange of vows under a magnificent arch of roses and gypsophila. “For the ceremony, we also designed a white carpet to run down the aisle between the guests that would be covered with rose petals,” the bride recalled, emphasizing the thoughtful details that made the moment so beautiful and special.

The cocktail hour featured an Italian gastronomy, such as prosciutto, selection of cheeses and traditional antipasti. Guests mingled by the lakeside, sipping Aperol Spritzes against a backdrop of majestic mountains. “A big hit among our guests was the personalised cocktail menu, especially the ‘Mila Margarita,’ named after our dearly loved dog,” shared Constance.

On the serene waters of Lake Como, the bride and groom shared a private moment aboard a classic Italian boat. “On our wedding day, we knew we had to hire a classic Italian boat to take us around the lake after the ceremony, sailing off into the sunset in our wedding outfits, with these beautiful moments captured by our photographer and videographer.” the bride shared. “The results were incredible! If you’re getting married in Lake Como, we highly recommend adding this to your day.”

The reception was set under the soft glow of fairy lights, with the tables beautifully arranged along the villa’s terrace, each decorated with elegant ivory and soft blush flowers, just as the bride had imagined. “For our dinner reception, we envisioned two long imperial tables adorned with full garlands of roses to match the arch,” she described. As the evening deepened, candles flickered, casting a warm, inviting atmosphere over the intimate gathering, casting a glow on the gold accents of the decorations.

As night fell, the masquerade began, an enchanting twist that the bride found irresistible. “The evening was aglow with laughter and Venetian masks as guests disguised themselves, adding a playful charm to the festivities,” she recalled.

The cake-cutting ceremony was a highlight: the bride and groom, surrounded by sparklers and cheers, sliced into a four-tiered masterpiece: “Our 4-tier wedding cake had been designed with the same roses for decoration as in the arch and on tables, ensuring that every aspect of our celebration echoed the romantic ambiance we had envisioned.”

The bride fondly mentioned, “It was a magical conclusion to our big day, under a sky full of stars, surrounded by the warmth and joy of everyone we love.”
