Three years passed since they started dating, and during a visit to New York City just before Christmas, Lucas romantically proposed to Sydney atop the famous Top of the Rock. Overwhelmed with happiness, Sydney happily accepted his proposal. On their wedding day, during his vows, Lucas expressed that he knew from their very first date that Sydney was the person he was meant to be with, and he confidently believed they would end up together.

The couple resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, and enjoys the energetic lifestyle of city living while also sharing a deep affection for the beach. Sydney and Lucas successfully merged the carefree essence of a weekend beach trip with an elegant aesthetic for their wedding. Their vision was to create a wedding that embodied a boho, coastal theme with a touch of class.

Sydney had a wonderful morning filled with love and support from her closest family and friends as she prepared for her big day. The presence of a live painter Popadich Art added an extra touch of magic to the wedding evening, as he skillfully captured the essence of the couple and the reception on canvas.
